The District 5 female was the female tribute from District 5 who was reaped to participate in the 75th Hunger Games. She was also a victor of a previous, unspecified Hunger Games.

75th Hunger GamesEdit

She was reaped for the 75th Hunger Games, along with an alcoholic district partner. Not much is known about the Games she won. It can be assumed, though, that she may have fought with the other tributes, as she survived the initial bloodbath. Katniss doesn't know much about her, as she didn't show up for training, or make much of an impression on Katniss. During the Games, she swam to the Cornucopia sometime after Katniss, Peeta, Finnick, and Mags left. 

DeathEdit

Although she outlived her alcoholic counterpart, she was killed on Day 2. It is unknown exactly how she died, but she was either killed by the tidal wave in the morning, or by the beast later in the day. She either placed 13th or 9th.

The District 5 female will be portrayed by Ivette Li-Sanchez in the upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
