So, I saw a user on chat speaking a different language.

People were saying it was disruptive.

That user was also insulting Americans in German, saying "rude racist Americans", and also "Americans are racist." Here is the proof:

So, I have a question. Should we add a new rule to make speaking in other languages on live chat illegal on the HG wiki?

I don't agree with removing someones right to speak in a foreign language on chat, but I think the rule should be, they need to show us a translation, or translate the text after they speak it. But they shouldn't have a conversation in that language

Hmm, I finds that if a user is speaking in another language then they are breaking another rule... They are spamming in a sense and most of this time this annoys other users. It is also disrupting the flow of the conversation (not a rule break but annoying). If people want to speak in another language then they should do it on pm. Isn't it actually stated that you should use english somewhere on the wiki? since most users don't speak a foreign language them speaking another language is useless practice

I feel as if they're not typing/speaking in English it defeats the purpose of chat. Especially if they don't speak/write English at all. If they can't understand what we're saying and they can't understand what we're saying there's no real point of them being on chat. There was a guy last week who refused to type in English and although 00 Trailblazer could translate he just didn't want to type in English although he could. When I asked him to type in English (I'd seen him type in perfect English before) he began calling me racist. I just feel like we should do something about that.
