Leevy was Katniss Everdeen's neighbor from District 12, and one of the few survivors who actually made it to District 13 after the Bombing of District 12. She made her first appearance in the series in Catching Fire when Katniss asked her to fetch Hazelle for her after Gale had been whipped by Romulus Thread. Katniss told her to make sure Gale's siblings don't see him in his injured state. She offers to watch Gale's siblings while Hazelle goes to the Everdeens' home in the Victors' Village to see Gale. She is described as a girl around Katniss' age with long black hair and gray eyes, typical of people of the Seam. She is one of the few people Katniss can call a friend. She and her family lived by the Everdeens at their old house in the Seam. She had a little brother whom Mrs. Everdeen treated when he caught measles. Leevy was present when Haymitch asked a group of people times when Katniss has moved them.
