Lucia was one of the Gamemakers during the 74th Hunger Games.[1]
Biography[]
Lucia was first seen announcing that all of the tributes were in their tubes. Later, she created the wolf mutts that chased after Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark, Thresh, and Cato. She appeared in The Hunger Games film but did not make an appearance in any subsequent media, so her fate is unknown.[1]
Physical description[]
Lucia had dark skin, short brown hair and brown eyes. Like the other Gamemakers, she wore a white uniform.[1]
Etymology[]
"Lucia" is the feminine form of the Latin name "Lucius". Both have the root "luc-", which is related to "lux", meaning "light".
