Rooba is the butcher from District 12. She lives in the Seam and occasionally stops by to do bussiness at the Hob She butchered the deer for Gale and Katniss that gave Katniss enough money to buy Lady for Prim. She does not barter, she only gives one fair price that citizens can either take or leave. Rooba also helped Katniss buy Lady from theGoat Man. When the man wanted Rooba to buy it, she said no and winked to Katniss as she left. She was most likely killed in the bombing of District 12 since she is never mentioned in Mockingjay.
Physical description
Rooba is said to be a short stocky woman and is said to look boney and old, yet tough and strong.
