WHY are there so many things about a cat that is barelly in the books. he is mintion about ten times in all thre books!
Well, If you have an accurate picture of him/her, then sure. I can't remember if he was in the film? The page can certainly do with an image of him though. May the Force and odds be with you in your favour! T.a14 (talk)
I think Buttercup is a very sweet cat because he actually protects Prim, when Katniss isn't around.

Apparence mentioned twice
I am not sure if this should be removed or not, but Buttercups apparence is mentioned both in teh intro start of the page but also in "apparance". Should we remove one of them cause they aer mostly just repeating each other.
no body has done one of these and got a pic of this cat yet?

Well Wingman, Somone put a picture but it ended up being not real. So they had to take it down.
you would thind is someone had the DVD they could just do a screengrab, then you would have a shot of the right from the movie.

Does Buttercup live with Katnis and Peeta in the epilogue ?
Buttercup shouldn't be alive in the epilogue
Reasoning, Buttercup shouldn't be alive during the epilogue of Mockingjay. From the statements said by Katniss in Hunger Games about Buttercup, we can assmue that he was less than 5 years old. A domestic cat lives on average for 13-15 years. If Buttercup had been alive during the epilogue, he would have been at least 19, so it is unlikely that he was alive.
Possible, but unlikely.
