Cashmere/Gloss years[]

The Cashmere/Gloss years listed here are not consecutive, and where did 69 and 71 come from anyway? Conflicts with the ranges on the Victors page. Royal Jester (talk) 06:32, July 14, 2012 (UTC)

Extent of Wealth?[]

It is often stated that District 1 is the wealthiest one of Panem, but it's never implied how wealthy. Are they rivalling the Capitol in terms of living standards or are they wealthy in comparison to the starving masses in District 12?????? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.27.52.95 (talkcontribs) 03:04, 24 April 2014

State[]

When I first read the book, I thought District 1 took up the state New York

Does District 1 really have 11 victors?[]

I know some people swear they count eleven victors in the district 1 podium. However, I have seen the MJ photos, and I think they are way too far and blurred to read.

For example, I thought I counted 12 on the district 1 podium, 13 on the district 2 podium and 5 on the district 5 podium. I think the fact the matter can even be debated is proof we cannot reliably report on the set photos.

Actually, I counted very carefully the D2 and D5 podiums and I assure you D2 seems to have 12 victors (I'm not so sure about District 2) and D5 has really 7 victors (I'm pretty sure about it). Search on Internet: "panem propaganda mockingjay set at the marriott marquis in atlanta".

There is a video (don't get start it) where you can count Districts 4, 2, 5 and 6 victors. DIstrict 6 has 4 victors and District 4 has 6 victors. DIstrict 5 has clearly 7 victors and it seems District 2 has 12 victors.

I don't know how many victors Districts 1 and 3 have, but I think District 2 has 12 victors and District 5 has definitely 7 victors.

Then, I paused when D3 and D1 victors were seen. I'm not so sure, but I counted 6 for District 3 and 10 for District 1. However, I'm not sure.

I can confirm District 1 has 11 victors.[]

I am sorry I doubted you GianG. District 1 indeed has 11 victors. Here is a photo of the District 1 podium! Should we put it on the page?

Re:I can confirm District 1 has 11 victors[]

But didn't you say it has 12 victors, not 11? I counted the victors, too and District 5 had 7 victors, while DIstrict 3 had 6 victors. I didn't count District 1 and 2 victors. Since, District 1 has 11 victors, District 2 should have 11 victors, too.

DIstricts 1, 2, 3 and 5 victors[]

I'm pretty sure about District 5 victors, but I said I'm not so sure anout the other. I said it seems District 1 has 10, District 2 has 12 and District 3 has  6, but not sure.

Now, I'm sure District 5 has 7 victors and District 1 has 11 victors and maybe I was wrong when I counted the District 3 victors.

PS: Why did you tell District 1 has 12 victors, instead of 11?

Rebels?[]

Were Cashmere and Gloss rebels? As far as I could tell they were actively working against Katniss.

Re: Well, they weren't in on the alliance Haymitch made to get Katniss out of the Arena, so it can be assumed they are not. But of course, they rebelled with the other victors on the night of the interviews, though that was maybe more about them being angry for being forced into the arena again.
