25th Games Question Edit

What's the source for the note that the victor died shortly after their games? There's nothing in the books to support this. The only thing we have is that it is assumed he/she wasn't alive for the 3rd Quarter Quell since Effie didn't send a tape to Peeta for this Game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) 11:36, April 19, 2012

where did this stuff about previous victors being in the first quarter quell? Since there is no proof of this im going to remove it at least for now Bolandcas (talk) 20:53, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

25th Games section Edit

Could this section be updated? Rather than what's there have:

25th Hunger Games (First Quarter Quell)Edit

The 25th Hunger Games was the first Quarter Quell in the history of the Games, and each district had to elect its own tributes. It is assumed by Peeta that the victor of these Games wasn't alive at the time of the Third Quarter Quell because there wasn't a tape for his/her games in the stack Effie sent.

Hunger Games Date Edit

P. 159 of Mockingjay, Katniss is told that September starts next week and she determins that Peeta has been a captive for five or six weeks. Assuming that Panem follows the same calendar we do, this puts the Hunger Games somewhere mid or late July. The reaping and the week of training would take place mid/early July.

Space between quote and extra link? Edit

I tried to add a free line between "This article is about the event. For other uses, see The Hunger Games (disambiguation)." and the quote, however it won't appear. I think the article could get more organized with it, can anyone add it?

Mon anglais c'est trés bien... Oh wait, crap, that was french. (talk) 20:10, February 26, 2013 (UTC)

I have an account, but not on here so I will ask you guys to make sure this is correct. Johanna is listed as having won the 71st hunger games in the list, but she is also listed in the bottom as not being known which game she won. Is this correct? 01:38, March 21, 2013 (UTC)

Victors Edit

Where do we have proof of Victors such as Woof, Brutus, Enobaria's, etc. Games #?

Enobaria's, Gloss's, Cashmere's, Finninck's, Johanna's and Annie's Games were confirmed by Suzanne Collins. I know nothing about the other games. GianG (talk) 12:43, May 31, 2014 (UTC)

The 73rd Hunger GamesEdit

When does it say that they were in a winter setting? I thought that she just said that they were games, not the 73rd or last years. And don't they say in the moive (or rather show) that that it is in ruins of a city? I Like Willow Shields 22:17, December 1, 2013 (UTC)

There is lots of information that I don't recall seeing in the books.  For example, the District 10 female's games weren't mentioned as far as I can remember, and nowhere do I remember it saying that Titus and Johanna Mason were in the same Games.

74th Hunger Games Tributes Edit

There's a few tribute names I haven't seen before and I'm a bit suspicious of them because I don't see a source and they look a bit off: Amber and Noah of District 3, Marina and Max of District 4, Tamora and Jason of District 6. So are those legit? Can I get a source? Minnabird (talk) 23:48, May 30, 2014 (UTC)

Well, Max and Tamora are confirmed by their portrayers.

Jason is revealed in the Behind the scenes of the DVD;

Marina is revealed in a site called October or something.

Amber is wrong, Kalia Prescott revealed that the d3 female's name is Maley.

Noah is also wrong, on March 2014 Suzanne Collins revealed that the d3 male's name was Chase

Ahh, interesting. And the district 8 girl, Savannah? I forgot her. (Sorry if I should know this stuff, but I'm a pretty casual fan and use the wiki as a refresher). Minnabird (talk) 00:15, May 31, 2014 (UTC)

Confirmed by Mackenzie Lintz on the summer of 2012. In this year, Annie Thurman also revealed that the District 9 girl's name was Demetria, and her surname Keene

Actually the names are these:

  • Finch (Foxfce) and Jason (D6 boy) were heard in the film. Both in the english version and in the italian version their names were these.
  • The D4 tributes' names were Max and Marina, this was confirmed by the actors. On the site october panem their names were Breck and Azora (but this is wrong).
  • Tamora, Savannah and Demetria were also confirmed by the actors.
  • The other (Noah and Amber) were on October Panem.
  • At the end, I didn't know the D3 tributes' real names were Chase and Amber. Are you sure about it?

GianG (talk) 11:41, May 31, 2014 (UTC)

Yes i`m sure, Kalia Prescott confirmed the d3 girl`s name (Maley) and Suzanne Collins confirmed the d3 boy`s name (Chase). And, also, they excluded Kalia`s demo reel on imbd :(

Biel1458 (talk) 12:18, May 31, 2014 (UTC)

I heard the D9 boy's name was Rye, but I'm not sure.

Therefore the names are these:

D1: Marvel and Glimmer

D2: Cato and Clove

D3: Chase and Maley

D4: Max and Marina

D5: unknown (boy) and Finch ("Foxface")

D6: Jason and Tamora

D7: unknown (both)

D8: unknown (boy) and Savannah

D9: unknown (boy, I heard his name was Rye) and Demetria

D10: "the crippled foot boy" and unknown (girl)

D11: Thresh and Rue

D12: Peeta and Katniss

Regarding Kalia Prescott's demo reel, I'm sorry you can't watch it, but I assure you the D7 boy was seen fighting with Jason, and after Thresh eventually killed him, while Clove ran to meet up with Glimmer.

Games not confirmed Edit

Most of the victors on this page havn't actually had their games confirmed yet, and where is it confirmed that Senecas first games involved a swamp setting with various traps? 15:54, June 24, 2014 (UTC)

I have an idea. We should make a page about strategies to win the games.
