How did President Snow start coughing up blood did him being tethered to the pole involve it

Snow's health was deteriorating before the trail ended. Probably because he couldnt recieve the usual treatment he got from being president. GreenPineapples (talk) 11:53, October 29, 2012 (UTC)

presedent snow[]

the reason he cought up blood is becuase when he posioned thos people he put some in his to so know one thought it was him who did it..and he has sorse in his mouth that bleed all the time so he use roese to cover the smell of blood thats why he always smeels like blood nd roses.

Okay it never said why he was coughing up blood thanx

Sorry just saying, it actually is because he drinks from the same goblets first, to prove they aren't poisened. One time the antidote wasn't strong enough so he has sores.

I hate President Snow! I don't think he deserved to exist or be president. After he was elected, he caused misery like executing Cinna or laughing at Prim's death. He deserved death!

He never laughed at Prim's death, he said it was wasteful killing a pen full of Capitol children, but that's all; and they say in Mockingjay why he has blood in his mouth all the time. Finnick says so during one of the propos. You guys never read the books or what?

First Name?[]

I didnt know his first name was Coriolanus. When was that revealed? Wolverine1717 (talk) 21:36, November 2, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think it was mentioned in the book... I saw the name on panem october, maybe whoever changed the page's name was confused? Necterine411 Talk 22:10, November 2, 2011 (UTC)

Suzanne Collins revealed it. Revealed in Mockingjay. Finnick says his name when describing his secrets. 74.96.72.234 16:43, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

And I agree, GlimmerandSparkle. 74.96.72.234 16:43, March 30, 2012 (UTC)

Well that's a little frustrating given that I would much rather know Foxface's name! :D This is my siggy!! I <3 Finnick Odair! He is mine.... back off Annie! lol:) Dont tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon:) GlimmerandSparkle 16:34, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Here's the reference: “And now, on to our good President Coriolanus Snow,” says Finnick. (Chapter 6). BrokenSphere (Talk 16:49, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

People say Snow created the Games. But, if there has been 75 Games before they banned them, and according to the person (or people) who created his profile, it says he is 76-years-old. So does that mean Snow created them when he was 1-year-old? Or was it somebody else?

I hope it was somebody else. I seriously doubt that the government would take orders from a not-even-a-toddler-kid. But it IS fun to picture a one year old saying that. Have a nice day,or I'll climb through your screen and make you! 18:44, January 31, 2013 (UTC)

Movie Snow doesn't look like Book Snow?[]

I think that the way he appears in the book doesn't really correspond to the movie, for instance the puffy lips, and I never thought of him as having facial hair. He does look like a Snow, but not the one in the book. Does anyone think he looks a bit like Dr. Mahbub-Ul-Haq, but maybe with darker hair? Just look up a picture of him. Just a thought.

Wealthy Capitol women?

There were men involved as well in the buying and selling of Finnick Odair.

The kiss[]

How did President Snow know about the kiss between Katniss and Gale?

Didn't mean to >.< I meant to undo a different revision. Sorry!

Because I'm sure it said that he had people following her or cameras or something. Rainbow Shifter 16:56, January 11, 2013 (UTC)

Title and Name[]

Snow's title may be the President, but that isn't his name. Shouldn't this page be renamed to just "Coriolanus Snow"? The title can be everywhere else in the article. {{SUBST:User:Jeyo/sig1}} 23:54, March 10, 2013 (UTC)

We name articles after what they are most often referred to as in the books/films. We could name it just President Snow if this is the case, but we also put the full names if they are known. Rainbow Shifter 23:56, March 10, 2013 (UTC)

How old actually is snow?139.195.69.153 07:37, November 9, 2013 (UTC)

Is he really evil?[]

Maybe snow kept the hunger games for love not for evil. What if he fell in love with a girl reaped when he was a teenager. Maybe she died and he was forever depressed. Maybe he kept it going to remind him of his love. Maybe he kept it going because he wanted others to feel the pain he felt when his lover dropped dead. (Your mind = blown) 76.19.203.242 22:15, January 25, 2014 (UTC) stalkingjay

Yes, this is not impossible... but ayhow he was evil, because he killed several people for revenge and killing people for revenge is the most evil action.

However, Coin is definitely worse than you. Do you agree?

Valerio Mariani (talk) 14:30, August 22, 2014 (UTC)

Okay, I can answer some of these questions. Ballad of the Songbird and the Snake spoilers by the way! His lover did not die when they were a couple. His only known lover is Lucy Gray Baird. She is the victor of the 10th Hunger Games. He only started to love her because he mentored her. I have no why he does all of these horrible things. Like someone above said, he loved revenge so maybe he kept them going as some sort of revenge to someone.

Poisoning[]

didn't he poison people when he was coming to power? Romulus Krefth (adept) (talk) 19:03, November 7, 2014 (UTC)

I think so.

Alma Coin "Main Antagonist"[]

I think Snow's initial description should be changed. Alma Coin isn't the main antagonist in Mockingjay. Only in the last few chapters does she show her true colors. Gourgeist (talk) 21:38, December 19, 2014 (UTC)

Revealing Coin's plan[]

So, there’s a glaring (to me, anyway) mistake on this page. That being, it implies Snow told Katniss he wasn’t lying. While he was, in fact, telling the truth, that’s not why he reminded her of the promise they made. When Katniss says she doesn’t believe him, she is lying. She knows he is right, but she is in denial. He has been the enemy she was focused on for so long that she cannot bring herself to admit to herself that she had been working with an equally dangerous enemy. One whom was responsible for her sister’s death. He reminds her of the promise BECAUSE he wants her to know that he knows she’s not being honest with him, or with herself. Some people have even pointed to this as Snow tricking Katniss and that he is lying to her, but that is absolutely slanderous to his entire character. It’s really infuriating when people just don’t ‘get it’ and assert their misinformed beliefs over the story. Especially people who didn’t read the books and are going off film alone. I think it’s really important for people to understand that, despite being on opposite sides, Coriolanus Snow has a very deep respect for Katniss Everdeen.
