The Hangar is a special defense area in District 13 that is located deep underground. It's where their food is grown, power is generated and air and water is purified. This is also where all of their hovercrafts are kept. Katniss takes one of the hovercrafts to District 8 along with Boggs, Haymitch, Plutarch, Gale, and a television crew. Almost everyone is dressed in dark gray military jumpsuits.
