The Hunger Games Adventures is a game on Facebook made by Funtactix also available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. It's available to anyone with a Facebook account or an iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. It is currently not availiable on an iPhone 3GS or iPod 3. Players can create their own character, complete challenges, do quests, unlock new things, and explore the world of Panem. It is currently in beta mode and a stream of Rue's Lullaby as well as a clip from The Hunger Games film can be unlocked. The game was released on the same day as the film, March 23, 2012.

PlotEdit

• Prologue: The Journey Begins - The game begins with a tutorial with Katniss and Peeta, in which the player receives a bow and arrows to defend themselves and fend off a vulture mutt, as well as meet Peeta at the Bakery and illegally barter meat and bread.
• Chapter One: Learn to Survive - In this chapter, the player is introduced to Gale Hawthorne, who teaches the player how to hunt in order to survive the harsh living conditions of District 12.
• Chapter Two: Uncover Secrets - Katniss teaches the player a lullaby sung by her father, and brings the player to the illegal black market in their district, the Hob. Katniss then shows the player the lake in the district woods, where her father would take her to when she was younger. A swarm of Tracker Jackers then appears, which the player banishes.
• Chapter Three: Heal the District - The player meets Primrose at the Seam when a neighboring house collapses. Prim and Peeta save the family inside and with the help of the player, rebuild the house. Peeta then meets a starving girl at the Bakery named Sorrel, and is fed by the player, who meets Haymitch Abernathy at the Hob, who tells the player about the Hunger Games. Katniss then meets up with the player and brings him/her to the lake, where a package from a mysterious benefactor has appeared. The two then go to the Justice Building and take out a portion of tesserae.
• Chapter Four: Become a Hero - When two children, Laurel and Oliver, go missing in the woods, Gale and the player track them down and bring them to their mother, Elena. An explosion occurs at the mine later, and with the help of Prim and Peeta, the miners are brought to safety and Prim brings them to her mother to be treated. Buttercup, Prim's cat, then goes missing, but is saved by the player and retrieved at the schoolyard.
• Chapter Five: Escape from District 12 - Peeta asks for the players help in cleaning up the schoolyard and planting flowers, and even retrieves a family of bunnies from the woods for the kids to play with. The player is then forced by Peacekeepers to help prepare for the upcoming Reaping of the 74th Hunger Games. Katniss then explains that Gale thinks the benefactor has drawn attention to the player and must escape District 12 and live in the Capitol, and secures a fake Capitol ID card for the player and sends him on a train bound for the Capitol, but receives more gifts from his mystery sponsor at the schoolyard.
• Chapter Six: Welcome to the Capitol - Upon arriving at the Capitol, the player immediately meets Effie Trinket, who hires the player as her personal assistant. She then asks Cinna, the stylist for the Hunger Games tributes, for a new wig for the Reaping in District 12, which the player is tasked with creating. Cinna then asks if the player will retrieve rare gemstones for him in the Capitol woods, but instead, finds two runaways from District 5, Amber and her son Surge. Taking pity on the family, Cinna and the player help make the family a shelter and allow them to live safely in the Capitol woods.
• Chapter Seven: Complete the Research - When a sponsor gift appears at Amber's shelter, the benefactor instructs the player to assist Seneca Crane with his research on the Hunger Games, and the player helps Seneca retrieve flame samples from the arena to use as fireballs in the games. The player then helps make new flora designs for the arena, and tests out the fireball effect, which proves successful.
• Chapter Eight: Prepare the Outfits - After completing the work with Seneca, Cinna will ask the player to help him design the outfits prepared for the tributes for District 12, which he was assigned. Gathering the right materials and dyes, the player delivers them to Cinna, who creates two leather outfits specially designed to literally light on fire when presented. Cinna will then ask for the flame samples the player gave Seneca for his research to complete a new dress for the female tribute, which will allow the dress to catch on fire when twirled. After doing so, Cinna will thank you for your help and hopes to collaborate in the future.
• Chapter Nine: Free the Innocents - Seneca asks the player to help continue his research for the games. This time concerning Tracker Jackers, which he plans to use in the arena. Due to the extreme population of Tracker Jackers, the player must travel to District 11 to complete the research, but runs into trouble on the mountains when the train breaks down. The player then fixes the train and travels to District 11, where he/she meets Rue and helps her free her falsely-accused friends from prison and across the border of District 11.
• Chapter Ten: Banish the Tracker Jackers - Upon successfully freeing Rue's friends from Capitol custody, the player is introduced to Thresh, who is willing to help the player be-rid the Tracker Jacker population of District 11. Burning huge bonfires in the woods with the help of Rue, the player drives off the mutts, but gain little research, much to Seneca's dismay.
• Chapter Eleven: Open Their Eyes - As the player's heroic actions spread through the Capitol, Caesar Flickerman wishes to host a television special on the player's brave adventures in the woods, and travels back to District 12 to shoot, with a Capitol TV director known as Lysander. The player then meets up with Gale, who explains the family they helped is in poverty, and with the help of Lysander, shocked at District 12's living conditions, the family is given a home and a shelter. Lysander then wishes to stay with the family and protect them, and gives up his life in the Capitol when the TV crew returns home.
• Chapter Twelve: The Pride of District 2 - Caesar decides to shoot more scenes of the special at District 2, where the player meets Cinder the gym teacher, and Cato and Clove. Currently, a career competition is taking place and the player decides to help Ash, a career who's partner backed out of the competition, and win against Cato and Clove, who take Ash's belongings. In a negotiation, the four return their gear and belongings. Ash reveals that his brother, who had grown deathly ill, is the only reason why he has chosen to be a Career. The player must sneak into the Supply Depot in District 2 and retrieve a medicine remedy for Tor, Ash's brother, which is made by Mrs. Everdeen at District 12, and given to Ash for Tor. After finishing filming in District 2, Caesar and the film crew board the train back to the Capitol, and the Reaping for the 74th Hunger Games is held the next day.
• Chapter Thirteen: Welcome the Tributes - Set during the events of the first book, this chapter weaves into the main plot of the Hunger Games novel, primarily from the point in which the tributes arrive at the Capitol for the Games themselves. While the player has little interaction with most tributes, the focus is set in scenes filling in gaps in the books concerning the affairs of characters such as Effie, Haymitch and Cinna, such as helping Effie with a makeover stand following the chariot parade, Cinna creating President Snow's topiary garden, and assisting Haymitch in formulating a plan to use Peeta's love for Katniss as a key part in earning sponsors. As the game progresses, the player will eventually secure an invitation to Snow's ball at his mansion, where the mysterious benefactor asks for the plans for the 75th Hunger Games, which are stashed in the President's study. The chapter then concludes with the Tribute interviews and Katniss and Peeta's reactions, with the actual Hunger Games beginning the very next day.
• Chapter Fourteen: The Plight of District 4 - Also running alongside the book, this chapter chronicles the first part of the Hunger Games and Katniss and Peeta's star-crossed romance. District 4 is introduced in this chapter. In District 4, you met a girl called Nixie, and her father Reed. At first you help her rescue people on the beach, who got stuck when a tsunami hit District 4 a week or so ago. Nixie works at a beach house in Victor's Village, home of Mags, Annie Crestia and Finnick Odair. You ultimately seek to acquire a Blue Fin Hogfish, which is used in making healing cream, so sponsors can send it to Katniss in the Games.
• Chapter Fifteen: The Secrets of District 3 - In this chapter, you visit District 3, and meet locals Plex and Ether. First Plex needs to move his workshop, which you help him with. Then you learn Ether has been raising a secret garden, which you help her acquire plants for.
• Chapter Sixteen: Homecoming - Katniss and Peeta have won the Hunger Games. In this chapter you start by welcoming them back to the Capitol, then help them return to District 12 and move into the Victor's Village. You also work to prevent Peacekeepers from disassembling dwellings used by citizens of District 12. This chapter covers through the end of the first book.
• Chapter Seventeen: The Victory Tour Begins - This chapter covers the beginning of Catching Fire. You start by helping with Katniss and Peeta's Victory Tour in various behind the scenes ways.

Seals of the DistrictsEdit

To promote the upcoming Chapter Thirteen for the game, a brand new, first ever "event" in the Hunger Games Adventures was released on July 12, 2012. The new quest features collecting the 12 district seals spread around locations and areas of the game that players must find to finish the quest. The official Map of Panem would also finally be unveiled if enough players found all 13 seals (Capitol included). The locations to get all the seals follow:

• District 1 - Search shiny luggage at Train Station or look at the Jewelry Stand at the Capitol Marketplace
• District 2 - The collapsed house at the Seam or the cottage built by Ash in the District 2 village
• District 3 - The Marketplace's Gagdet Stand houses this seal
• District 4 - The Fish Barrel outside of the Hob or you Forest Escape's Small Pond
• District 5 - The Electricity Pole seen in the Schoolyard
• District 6 - Any of the selectable Train Cars in the Trainyard
• District 7 - Search an axe by the Lake or the Coal Mines or after cutting down a Tree several times.
• District 8 - This seal is the most common, and can be found at the Marketplace "Capitol Couture" stand, the Hob's Clothing Stand or the mannequinn in Cinna's Prep Room
• District 9 - Found by searching grain sacks at the Bakery or the Hob
• District 10 - Feeding the chicken at the Seam or the Goat at the Bakery
• District 11 - Collecting the Apple Tree in your Forest Escape or cutting down trees earns this seal
• District 12 - Check the Mine Entrance in The Coal Mines
• The Capitol - Ask a friend to give you this seal. (In THGA for iOS, search in The Capitol Train Station in the Entrance)

Forest EscapeEdit

In the game, players will have a small retreat in the forest beyond the fence of District 12 that acts as a hub world in the game, allowing players to build various items and decorate and customize their forestry. Other interactive parts of the escape include trees and rocks that randomly generate and allow the player to collect rocks or wood, and sections of the forest escape that must be unlocked using "Discovery Maps". Players will also find Katniss Everdeen or Gale Hawthorne here to receive various miscellaneous quests that do not fall under a specific questline or chapter.
