Hey everyone. I decided to make my very own Hunger Games. Depending on how good these games are, I might make more in the future. Please, no criticism! If you don't like it, don't comment on it! Now, here are the things your tributes need to have to be in the games (copy and past the list, if you want).
You can add things to your submission that aren't on the list, if you want. I will give them their training scores based on what you submit. So let my first Hunger games begin! May the odds be ever in your favor...
|District||Boy Tribute||Girl Tribute|
|1||Carpen Shim (score: 11)|
|2||Amber Quartz (score: 10)|
|4||Cedar Mellark (score: 9)||Kajama Odair (score: 12)|
Amber Quartz: I watch as the district 2 escort reaches his hand into the glass ball containing all the possible female tributes from district 2. I know what I must do. I had decided to do it last night. The moment the escort pulls a name out of the ball, I yell out two words: I volunteer. I walk onto the platform and smirk at Slate. Then, he does something I don't expect: he volunteers. I am so angry at him! I will prove that I'm better than him! I will kill him, no matter what!
Kajama Odair: The young girl walked up to the stage, with a look of true fear on her face. She looked so small and innocent. I had to do it. I had to volunteer. And that is how I stand on this stage. Next to a boy named Cedar. Maybe I'll ally with him in the games. That's not a bad idea.....
District 1: Shimmer wore an amazing silver dress that sparkled when she moved. She also wore a gold crown with beautiful pearls mounted on it. A beautiful diamond necklace finished the outfit. Carpen wore a matching suit and crown, but his crown had Rubys instead of pearls. He also has a solid gold pocket watch and an emerald ring.
District 2: Both district 2 tributes wore white peacekeeper outfits. Very plane and simple, but strait to the point.
District 3: Anna wore a veil of wires over her head. She wore a ring that had moving gears on it and she wore a dress covered in wires. Joe's suit was also covered in wires, but he also wore metal plates on the entire left side of his body. This outfit gives him the impression of being a cyborg. Together, they are a perfect match!
District 4: Kajama wore a very simple and revealing outfit. She had sea shells placed on all her private areas, and she had lucious seaweed in her hair. Cedar wore an amazing green and blue suit that was completely water-proof. His hair was also driping wet, giving the effect that he had just come from the beach.
District 5: Both tributes wore outfits that looked like metal bars thrown randomly across their bodies. But when a button is pressed on their wrist, the bars are covered in crackling electricity. If you didn't know about the metal bars, you would think that the outfit is made entirely out of electricity!
District 6: Both tributes wore a light on their chests, like the light on the front of a train. Other than that, they just wore conductor outfits.
District 7: They dressed up as trees. Again.
District 8: Eve wore an amazing velvet dress of every colour in the rainbow. In fact, it changed colours everytime she moved! Thread had a matching suit and tie.
District 9: Both wore braided crowns of weat on their heads. In fact, their clothing was made entirely out of wheat!
District 10: Both tributes wore muddy overalls and boots. They also had straw in their mouths and a farm hat. Charles also wore gloves.
District 11: Avery had dress made from grass, a beautiful tribute to nature. Ryak had a belt made out of vines. His suit was coloured the same yellow as a banana. Both had an apple they were supposed to eat for the croud.
District 12: Both tributes wore coal black clothes with small shiny crystals in them.
District 13: The district 13 tributes looked like miny nukes with arms, legs, and a head.
The Arena: North of the Cornucopia, there is a huge volcano. A force field stop the lava from leaving the volcano's radius, but it doesn't keep the tributes from entering. Surrounding the Cornucopia is a huge, flat dessert that stretches to the east and west. And just a short distance south is a huge forest that goes on for miles. Although it has food and water, the forest is infested with mutts.
Lauren Victor: As the cannon went off that signaled the start of the games, I felt great fear. But that fear was replaced by adrenaline as I ran towards the Cornucopia, looking for my brother. I quickly snatched up a sword to defend myself with. As I searched for Charles, I was jumped by the girl from 6. I barely doged her trident in time! I swung my sword up, but it only streaked her face. She quickly retreated. Then I heard a cannon fire. I turrned to see who it was, and it was my own brother. Charles was already dead.
Herflex Nome: What is the best way to prove yourself to the careers? Kill other tributes of course! But I didn't have any weapons, I had to use my hands to fight. I jumped on the boy from 8, and began to strangle him. At first he was suprised, but then he had this look of realisation on his face. All I felt after that was his fist connect with my jaw.
Carpen Shim: I saw the tribute from 13 go down. The tribute from 8 jumped on top of him and began lowering a knife to his throat. Then I realised something: the tributes from 4 aren't going to join the careers. I needed to manipulate as amny tributes as possible to join the careers. If I saved his life, would the 13 boy join the careers? Next thing I know, I'm stabing the boy from 8 right through the chest. I heard his cannon go off. I looked down at the 13 boy. "Alliance?" He noded. That was easier than I thought!
Kajama Odair: The moment I saw the trident, I knew I would win the games. I scooped it up in my hands, and it felt good. Like dad was watching over me. I quickly ran for Cedar, who was fighting off two tributes with a javelin. He had a bow and arrows slung over his shoulder. I ran towards him, trident at the ready. I speared the boy from 11 through the chest. The other boy tried to run, but Cedar threw his javelin through him. When I asked what district he was from, Cedar said he was from 6. And then, we ran for the forest, hoping to find shelter.
Amber Quartz: The Cornucopia was a dead zone. Besides the tributes from 1 and 2, the boy from 13, and the girl from 8 (who Carpen mannage to trick), there was no sign of life. Five tributes were dead on the ground. Wait a minute... was one of them moving? I took my knife out and approached the tribute. Yep, they were definitly alive. I stabbed them in the back and heard their cannon fire. I flipped them over to see the face of the girl from 5. One down, 18 to go....
Day 1 Night
Anna Grenwism: I awoke to find Joe wide awake, still working with that wire he found at the Cornucopia. "Are you stil working on that?" He merely nodded. I decided to go back to sleep. No use staying awake if he's going to be working. But I couldn't go back to sleep, out of fear that I wouldn't wake up again.
Titanic De Leon: I dn't sleep all night. It wasn't from fear, it was the fact that I was sleeping in a cramped tree. Brittani insisted that it was safer. Once I finally started to doze off, I heard a strange buzzing sound coming from the tree that Brittani was in. As it grew louder, I heard her start to scream. Next thing I knew, I was watching her fall as tracker jackers swarmed around her! She started twitching violently on the ground. After a few minutes, she stopped and I heard a cannon fire. The tracker jackers then returned to their hive. I imeadiately jumped down from my tree and hugged her body tightly. I wanted a moment with her before the gamemakers took her away.
Brittanic De Leon
Sutton Yates: I still coudn't believe that River was dead. The moment that javelin pierced his chest was the moment I realised I had to win these games alone. I wallowed in my sorrow hiding in a bush, hoping no one would see me. But when I got up to see who was around, all I saw was a huge mutt! It was like a giant panther with a snake tail. I imediately wiped out an arrow and shot it right between it's eyes. It fell over, dead. I decided to get moving before a tribute found me.
Shania Deary: I was perfectly camouflaged with the mud. No one would notice me. Of course, it was extremely boring waiting for something to happen. Then, I heard rustling in the bushes. Out came the girl from district 12, looking franticly around like she was looking for something. Or someone. Suddenly, a huge mutt burst out of nowhere and tackled her! It looked like a cross between a lion and a wolf. It tore her throut out and her cannon fired. I watched motionlessly as it devoured her corpse. I waited for what felt like hours until it left. That's when I realised that the games are going to be harder than I thought.
Titanic De Leon: I saw the careers moving in on me and I drew my sword. Without Brittani to fight for, there was no reason to live. But that doesn't mean that I wan't going to go down without a fight. The girl from 1 threw a knife into my shoulder. Enraged, I charged at her and decaptitated her with my sword. The guy from 1 came at me with a spear. I easily blocked it, but suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my back. As the world went black around me, I heard my own cannon fire.
Day 2 Night
Cedar Mellark: The second night was much colder than the first, so me and Kajama huddled together for warmth. As we prepared to sleep, she gave me a kiss and then dosed off imeadiately. I remembered how she stayed on guard duty the whole first night. She must have been really tired! I guess it was my turn to stay up late that night. It was really dull for the first few hours. Then, I heard rustling in the bushes. I quickly grabbed my bow and loaded an arrow into it. Suddenly, the boy from 5 barreled through. He wasn't armed. He had this scared look on his face. Then I realised that a mutt was chasing him. I couldn't see it in the dark, but I shot for where I thought it's head was. It imeadiately fell to the ground, dead. I turned to the boy. "Alliance?", he said hopefully. I silently nodded. It's good to have a lot of allies. But is it what my parents would have done?
Titanic De Leon
Slate Obsidian: Amber was ignoring me. I knew she didn't like me very much, but she never ignored me like this. I kept asking her what was wrong. Eventually, she completely exploded at me. She started screaming her head off. Half the words I couldn't even understand! Carpen tried to get her to calm down, because she would attract unwanted attention. But she didn't listen to him, and continued to scream at me. It was at this point that I noticed Eve was missing.
Eve Cotton: "Oh no", I said to myself. I was lost in the woods. In one of my flashes of madness, I snuck away from the careers. They were probably the only reason I had survived that far. But another flash came upon me, and I started running in a random direction. Deep down though, I hoped to find the careers. I needed to find them!
Lauren Victor: I heard rustling in the trees, a noise that could only be made by a tribute. Or a mutt. I didn't care which. I ran towards the noise, sword at the ready. I swung my sword down and felt it connect with flesh. I heard a girl's scream, and then a cannon. I looked down to see the girl from 8. Her blank eyes stared up at me. I puked all over the ground. What had I done...
Joe Grenwism: The trap was ready. I had used the wires to make a pressure trap that would only go off if there was more than 200 pounds on it. That way, it wouldn't kill one single tribute sneaking around, but a group of them. I had made the trap in the hope of killing all the careers at once. It had taken a couple days, but it was ready. All I had to do now was wait. Anna was siting next to me, finishing placing leaves and twigs over the trap. After she was done, it was practicly invisible. We sat there and waited for something to happen. We waited. And we waited. For hours we waited. And nothing happened. Night fell and still no sign of any tributes. Anna fell asleep next to me. I stayed awake though. To watch. And wait. Because I knew the careers were coming. And when they got there, I would be prepared.
Devon Slate: Could I trust those two? The tributes from 4 seemed nice enough, but was it a front? Were they going to use me to do all the work, and then kill me in my sleep? I couldn't tell, but the boy, Cedar, had saved me from that mutt. And they hadn't made me do any work. Maybe I was wrong. I hoped that I was wrong...
Kajama Odair: That Devon guy was watching us. I wanted to tell Cedar, but I was afraid he would notice. Why was he doing that? Suddenly, the boy from 12 jumped out of the bushes and tackled Devon. He prepared to stab him with a knife when an arrow whized past me and went right into his throat. His cannon fired. I turned to see Cedar, bow drawn. Devon looked surprised that he saved him. Maybe I can trust him now.
Jeremiah Heddorian: Camping in the desert was a smart desicion. I was only a short walk away from the forest, and I had not seen a single tribute since the games began. I was also very close to the cornucopia. I was snaking on some blueberries when I heard an announcement from the head gamemaker. "Listen closely tributes! There is a change in the format this year. When we get down to the final 6, the remaining tributes will drop their weapons and go to the cornucopia. If you disobey, you will be imeadiately killed. You will receive further instructions there. Continue the games as normal until we announce that there are only six tributes left. Good day!" I just sat there after that and let it sink in. Eventually, others would find my hiding spot. I suddenly felt completely exposed.
Shania Deary: I was half asleep when the ground started to shake. I didn't know what was going on. Was it some giant mutt chasing a tribute? No, it was an earthquake! The gamemakers must have started it! Suddenly, a fissure opened in the ground. I didn't have time to get up and run. The fissure swallowed me, and I plunged into the darkness.
Herflex Nome: I barely escaped the giant fissure. It seemed that the entire forest was being ripped to shreds! The moment I made it to the desert, the ground stopped shaking. I guess that only the forest was affected by the earthquake. I did a quick headcount of the remaining careers. Only me, Carpen, and Amber remained. Slate had fallen into the fissure. Suddenly, the ground in the forest stopped shaking. Then, five cannons went off. That means four other tributes had been killed. That also meant that there were ten tributes in the desert. I had a feeling that we were going to get down to the last six tributes very soon!
Anna Grenwism: Joe was dead. The fissure had killed him. The trap had been ripped to sheds! The only reason I had survived is because I am a fast runner. And so I sat there in the desert, mourning my brother. I knew that I had to win, for him. I wanted to make him proud!
Day 5 Night
Avery Fiddleness: When the anthem played, I looked up to see the faces of the five dead tributes. The first to have been killed was Slate, followed by Joe. Next was Taytum, followed by . Finally, it showed Shania's face. I was glad to be alive! As I curled up inside my sleeping bag and fell asleep, I wondered who would be the next to die....
Amber Quartz: Herflex saw tributes fighting in the distance. Carpen led a charge at them. It was going to be another bloodbath! Before we even got there, I heard a cannon fire. When I was close enough, I saw the body of the district 7 male on the ground. The district 6 female was trying to fight off the district 4 female in trident combat, while the district 4 male tried to shoot the girl from district 3. The 5 boy and the 11 girl were fighting as well. I threw a knife in the 11 tribute's back, killing her. The 5 tribute tried to run, but was stabbed by Carpen. Another cannon fired, and I turned to see the 6 girl stuck at the end of a trident. Suddenly, a horn went off. I knew what it meant. We were down to the final six.
Anna Grenwism: We all gathered along the outside of the starting discs, waiting for instructions. Suddenly, the head gamemaker's voice echoed around us. "Here are the new rules: all tributes must get to the cornucopia and climb it. The first two to make it to the top win. Everyone else shall be killed. Fighting is allowed. Commence when you wish." For a minute everyone stood there, taking in what the gamemaker had said. "What are we waiting for?", asked the boy from 13. I think his name was Herflex. He started to run towards the cornucopia when an explosion came up from underneath him. It knocked us all off our feet! The mines. They had reactivated the mines!
Carpen Shim: The tributes from districts 3 and 4 moved quickly, but carefully. I was much slower, making sure I wasn't going to blow up. Amber just sat there, watching everyone. An explosion came from my left. The 3 girl was dead. The 4 tributes made it to the cornucopia and started to climb. The girl made it to the top with ease. The boy was struggling. The girl, Kajama, grabbed his hand and started to pull him up. With a great battle cry, I dashed towards them and jumped on the boy's back.
