Day 1; Battle at the Cornucopia[]
Tyrone[]
I'm off as soon as the gong goes off. I run by the girl from District 12, I think her name was Cassidy, and she falls to the ground, dead. I finally make it to the horn, and grab a pack, along with a knife, and run for the woods. But, I won't make it. A sharp pain goes up my leg, and I drop my supplies. The boy from District 2, Shawn, is standing above me with a knife. I reach for my leg, and when I pull my hand up to my face, there's blood covering it.
Shawn takes the knife and jabs it into my stomach. I scream, but he can't hear it at the sound of a cannon going off. I'm not dead, yet. "Please don't." I say weakly. "Too late, brother." And he jams the knife into my stomach again, and my cannon goes off. I am dead.
Emily[]
I run to the safety of the woods, with my district partner, Brayden, right behind me. "I got two packs." He says. "I got one and a spear." I reply. "Good. Looks like we're pretty set. I got two sleeping bags. Here," he says, handing a sleeping bag to me. "Thanks." I say. We teamed up before the games even began. We know each other from when we were in school. Even though we're the youngest competitors, I'm glad that we both took that plant finding class. We know which are edible, and which aren't. And another advantage is that we're from the Transportation district, so we know how to move our supplies without being noticed.
"So. If it comes down to having to kill someone, who would it be, Emi?"
"Probably that District 2 guy. Did you see the way that he killed that guy from District 7? Just brutal!"
"Same here. He needs to be stopped. So, I found a knife in one of the packs. Take it." He says. I take the knife, and stare at it. The thought of killing Shawn is both an unpleasant and happy feeling, but I don't feel like I could bring myself to do it.
"Um, Brayden. If we do have to kill Shawn, could you do it?"
"Sure. Goodnight, Emily," he says as he pulls the sleeping bag over his head.
"Goodnight," I reply.
Josh[]
I watch as Brook is killed by the guy from District 4. And then, I realize that she is the first person killed. But I waste time thinking about this, and recieve a blow to the head. Wow. I'm the second person killed.
Jaeden[]
Oh, good. I have survived the first day. It feels good. I'm a Career Tribute, which is totally awesome by the way. So, the Tributes this year are me, Ryan, Shawn, and Dustin. The other two were killed, I guess.
Shawn walks over to the fire. "I killed that District 7 guy."
Dustin looks at him. "You said you wanted to keep him alive!"
"I know, but, I just felt like it needed to be done."
"Well, I watched Rebekah get killed."
"By who?" Ryan asks him.
Dustin takes a bite of his cracker, and then says, "The District 3 girl."
"She's still alive. Didn't see her in the sky. Her name's Katie." I say. "Her partner's dead though."
"Oh, well. I'll handle Katie. There's eleven of us left, and she's out in these woods somewhere." Shawn says, sharpening his knife on a rock. "Well, see ya in the morning guys!" I say, and I go to sleep.

DAY 2
Ethan[]
I awake to the sound of birds chirping. The sun blinds me as I struggle to get up. It rained during the night, so I'm soaked. But I realize I must win this thing. For Sarah and the people of District 8. I have to get out of my clothes before I get hypothermia. It is bitterly cold out. I'm surprised on how fast the sun dries my clothes. I get dressed and head south. Well, I think it's south. With Sarah being dead, I don't have to make sure she's still wobbling behind me with her crippled leg.
"Hey, Ethan." I hear.
It's Katie. She's up high in the trees.
"Wh-what do you want?" I ask her. She's holding a knife.
"What do I want?" She asks as she jumps down from her perch. "Well, Ethan, what I want...is your life."
I run. She holds the knife up, and she follows.
I don't make it far. I end up at the edge of a cliff. "Alright. Guess what? Your life is mine." Katie says.
I have no time to move, and the knife goes right in between my eyes. My body falls backward and drops from the cliff. Boom. My cannon goes off, and I'm dead.
Paige[]
I hear the cannon. Hallie looks at me.
"What was that?" She asks me.
"A cannon. I wonder who died?"
Brayden[]
A silver parachute falls in between Emily and I, and then another. Our first gifts from a sponsor! Already, we must be popular in the Capitol. Attatched to the spears is a note that says from Lane Anno. "Thanks Lane." I say loud enough so the cameras can hear me.
Emilly lets out a "Wooh!" at the sight of the spears. We have two weapons, and better yet, spears, that could come in handy. We both heard the cannon earlier, and so that's one less tribute we don't have to worry about killing with them.
Shawn[]
The parachute lands in my hands. A mine. Awesome! Dustin and Jaeden ooh and ahh at the sight of it. Idiots. Don't they know that this a weapon of mass destruction in the arena? They should be focused on what matters. Killing other tributes.
At night, we see the boy from District 8, Ethan, in the sky. So now, there are only ten of us left. This is going to be really easy!
