So yesterday I watched the entire first season of Capture and I loved it. The thing is that I came up with a way I adapted it to the Hunger Games! The explanation will be bellow.
Explenation[]
Before the games start the tributes are divided into 12 teams of 2. This will be done by matching their skills and personalities to make them be matched up one against the other. However they will not fight but instead they will work together to attempt to survive the games as a team.
Every two days a pair will be randomly selected as the Hunt Team. They will be given weapons and supplies while the other teams will be given nothing at all. They will have a total of 36 hours to kill one or more teams. If they kill more than one teams the corpses of whoever was killed by that round’s hunt team will be revived and they will have to fight to the death against the other deceased teams until one tribute dies. That tribute’s partner will also die and the surviving teams will be allowed to rejoin the game. However if the hunt team fails to kill at least one team they will be the ones killed.
Meanwhile the hunt team has many supplies, the non selected teams who are called the prey will have nothing at all, no food, no weapons, nothing. They will have to fight for survival at the same time they escape from the hunt team. Luckily for them two different sets of stations will sometimes open during the rounds. The first one is a Supply Station where there will be different items, from food to weapons or survival supplies. The prey is also safe in the supply station due to the hunt team not being allowed in a 50 feet perimeter from it. However supply stations are only open for a certain amount of time and the hunt team will be allowed inside of it when the time is over.
The second one is an advantage point. They are divided into two different types of advantage points, looking-glasses and sabotage. The looking-glasses will reveal to the prey team the location in the arena of the other teams, including the hunters. The negative thing about that is that the hunters will be notified of the location of the looking glass. The sabotage point is used to, as its name hints, sabotage other teams. The team who reaches first the sabotage point will be given the power to sabotage another team. From making alarms inside the vests owned by the sabotaged teams sound to freeing mutts near them.
