Welcome, Welcome! Edit

Welcome to the 57th Annual Hunger Games. This is the first Hunger Games that I'm running, so it should be fun. The tracking of the tributes health, how sponsoring will work and the arena will be explained below.

I would like to give a shout out/send a thank you to SkyTimeGirl. Her 162nd Hunger Games were a big inspiration for these, and I drew from her games to help me set these up. Thank you, Sky. :)

The Arena Edit

The Arena is a diamond shaped area. There are two main sections of the arena, north & south. The north is a barren wasteland. Food is scarce here and water even more hard to come by. The south is a lush rain forest. Though it looks welcoming, it is inhabited by dozens of dangerous creatures and becomes extremely cold at night. While food and water are in abundance here, only the best of the best will be able to survive. The north will be referred to as the Desert, while the south will be referred to as the Rain-Forest. As the Tributes approach the northern or southern points, the conditions they will experience will get worse by the step. However, they do not know this.

With the Arena being roughly 30 miles from northern point to southern point, The Cornucopia rests directly in the middle, fifteen miles from each point. At a neutral point, if you will, between the two extremes that are the north and south. It is a bronze colored metal horn, similar to the one seen in the Hunger Games movie. It is surrounded by a lush green field, which extends about one hundred yards in all directions. After this, a forest similar to that of those seen in the Northern United States extends for another hundred yards before the northern and southern climates 'kick in'. The forest surrounding the Cornucopia will be referred to as the Cornucopia Forest.

It will be stocked with a mix of weapons and backpacks. The weapons will be split evenly among the different types, and the backpacks will contain mystery items. The mystery items could be anything from a pack of matches to a hunting knife to some medical supplies. Point is; The contents of the backpacks are completely and utterly random. The most valuable weapons and packs, as always, have been placed nearest the Cornucopia.

You will have three choices when the Games begin:

Jump into the fighting, killing as many tributes as you can.
Run for supples and then book it out of there.
Run from the Cornucopia and hope for the best.

If you're interested in joining these Hunger Games, use the following form to submit them to the games. Keep in mind when you are filling it out that I reserve the right to deny a Tribute's entry into the game should I feel like they are over-powered. For the training session, just tell me what they did. I decide the training score off of that.

Training Sessions Edit

The time has come for the Tributes to show their skills to the Gamemakers and see how they rank. As always, District 1 will go first.

District 1 Edit

Arran Harthorn Edit

Arran walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for him.

"Arran Harthorn, District 1." He says in his typical charismatic tone.

He looks over the weapons table and picks out a sword. Staring at it for a moment before he starts slashing at a dummy, cutting it into many pieces. He runs over to another dummy and does the same thing. When he goes to run to the third dummy, his leg gives out. It's his old leg injury. It's momentary pain, but it's enough for the Gamemakers to notice. He gets up and slices the dummy to pieces, like the other and exits the room. The Gamemakers are impressed by his swordsmanship, but because of his injury he receives a score of 9.

Atenea Boturoc Edit

Atenea walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for her.

"Atenea Boturoc, District 1." She says, seeming happy.

She took a minute to ready some knives, attaching them to her shirt. She then grabs the bow and two arrows. Atenea shows off her speed by sprinting to the furthest dummy and sinking a knife into it's neck. She turns on a dime, draws an arrow and shoots at the closest dummy. The arrow almost missed, just barely sticking into the left shoulder. Unfazed, she takes a knife and throws it at the same dummy, striking it dead in the chest. She shoots her last arrow at a dummy, and fires off the her remaining knifes into the same dummy. All found their target, in the dummy's chest and abdomen. Though her one mess up was small, it was enough for the Gamemakers to notice. She receives a score of 8.

District 2 Edit

Draco Adams Edit

Draco started fast, running into the room and right to the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for him.

"Draco Adams, District 2." He says confidently.

He turns towards a group of dummies, grabs a sword from the weapons table at his side and goes to work. Slicing up two of the dummies in a matter of seconds. Throwing the sword to the ground, he grabs a spear and tosses it at the farthest dummy, hitting it square in the chest. He sprints over to retrieve his spear. When he gets it, he immediately thrusts it into the back of another dummy. He turns to another, and begins to show off his prowess with hand-to-hand combat. After he finishes with the dummy, he leaves the room. Despite his impressive showing, the Gamemakers have only given him a score of 10.

Zarahela Kourtain Edit

Zarahela walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for her. She skips the introduction and gets straight to work.

She grabs a sword, and begins to break down dummies with it. After a third dummy falls to her, she throws the sword to the ground. Grabbing a few spears, she throws them at the farthest dummies, every single on hitting their mark. Confident in how she's done so far, she grabs a bow and a few arrows. Aiming for the same dummies as before, she shoots. She misses one arrow, just barely. The other two found their targets. The Gamemakers are very impressed by her, but due to her neglect to introduce herself, they forget her and she receives a score of 6.

District 3 Edit

Artur Soliel Edit

Artur walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for him.

"Artur Soliel, District 3." He says plainly.

He grabs the only thing the Gamemakers put out for him, a black bow and quiver with five arrows in it. He readies himself and rapidly shoots the arrows into five different dummies. They all found their intended targets; Neck, head, chest, abdomen, and head. He sets the bow and quiver on the table, and confidently walks out of the room. For his accuracy, he receives a score of 11.

Cassie Mortimer Edit

Cassie walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for her.

"Cassie Mort...Mortimer, District 3." She says nervously.

She grabs a bow and quiver from the weapons table, and attempts to shoot a dummy. Missing, she puts the bow back down. Shaken, she remembers something a friend told her "You know how to survive." Re-encouraged, she walks over to where the Gamemakers have set up survival tactics area. She makes a small shelter, sets up a few traps and fashions two spears from wood. All in under twenty minutes. For her survival skills, she receives a score of 7.

District 4 Edit

Tide Watercrest Edit

Tide walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for him.

"Tide Watercrest, District 4." He says, charmingly.

Wanting to show off his strength first, he grabbed a dummy, threw it onto his shoulder and threw it onto the ground. Grabbing a sword and plunging it into the dummy's abdomen. Tide sprints to a pool, jumps in and sprint-swims to the other side and back. For his speed and strength, he receives a score of 8.

Katie Nelson Edit

Katie slowly walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for her.

"Katie Nelson, District 4." She says, softly.

Unsure of her own abilities, she decides to show of what she knows she is capable of; Her speed. She grabs a dagger an starts off sprints around the dummies, stabbing them in the back as she goes. She is blazingly fast, but the Gamemakers are unimpressed and she receives a score of 6.

District 5 Edit

Jerome Mannor Edit

Jerome steps into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for him.

"Jerome Mannor, District 5." He said, a slight nervousness in his voice.

He turns to the weapons table, and sees an assortment of electronics on the table. Mines, wire, power sources and more. He sets up a series of traps. First, an electrified wire hidden by grass. Second, a mine camouflaged by small rocks. Third, a trip wire set to trap someone/thing is a net. He sets off the traps, and the Gamemakers are impressed by his ingenuity. For this, receives a score of 8.

Katelynn Huxley Edit

Katelynn walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have provided for her. Nervous, she forgets to introduce herself.

She turns to the weapons table, and examines what they have placed out for her. She notices a pack of five throwing knives. Picking them up, she spins around and throws the pack at five different targets. Every one finds their target, the neck of each dummy. The Gamemakers are impressed by her accuracy, but due to her neglect to introduce herself, they forget her. For this, she receives a score of 5.

District 6 Edit

Kade Ravensmith Edit

Kade walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for him.

"Kade Ravensmith, District 6." He says as his deep voice bellows through the room.

He turns to see a single club on the weapons table. He grabs it, and begins a violent array of attacks on the dummies standing in front of him. The Gamemakers are impressed but Mr. Ravensmith is not yet done. Throwing the club down, he runs towards a dummy, picks it up over his shoulder and body slams it on to the ground. For his strength and fighting skills, he receives a score of 9.

Tamora Summers Edit

Tamora walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for her.

"Tamora Summers, District 6." She says, slightly nervous.

Tamora examines what they have put on the weapons table for her. A small sword and a bow, along with a quiver with five arrows. She picks up the sword and weakly swings it at a dummy, barely making an impression on it. She drops it, backs up to the table and picks up the bow and quiver. Shooting two arrows at the same dummy, she has slightly more success then with the sword. Both found their target's abdomen. The Gamemakers are unimpressed, and she receives a score of 4.

District 7 Edit

Atlas Dunnin Edit

Atlas walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for him.

"Atlas Dunnin, District 7." He says with meaning.

He turned to see an assortment of axes, tomahawks, and throwing knives on the weapons table. He grabs an axe, turns to a dummy and sinks it into the dummy's forehead. Grabbing a tomahawk, he throws it at a dummy. Finding it's mark, the tomahawk drives into the dummy's upper chest. Turning for another axe, he grabs two and plunges them into a dummy's back. The Gamemakers are impressed by his skills with axes/tomahawks. For this, he receives a score of 10.

Hermia Glycen Edit

Hermia walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for her.

"Hermia Glycen, District 7." She says slyly.

She immediately notices they have set up an obstacle course. She moves through it gracefully, and completes it rather fast. Grabbing an axe upon completing the course, she sinks it into a dummy's chest. Moving swiftly among the dummies whilst taking them out, Hermia impresses the Gamemakers. For this, she receives a score of 11.

District 8 Edit

Zeus Hardwick Edit

Zeus walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for him.

"Zeus Hardwick, District 8." He says plainly.

Turning towards the weapons table, he notices they have only set out throwing knives for him. Taking advantage of this, he starts a barrage of knives towards various dummies. Though most find their mark, a few miss, a few miss hit and bounce off of the dummies. The Gamemakers are slightly impressed by this and he receives a score of 7.

Demanir Crowney Edit

Demanir walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for her.

"Demanir Crowney, District 8." She says proudly.

Wanting to show off her strength, she grabs a mace. Driving it into the side of a dummy's head, she knocks it's head clean off it's shoulders. She does this to another dummy before switching to knives. Grabbing two daggers, she slits the throats of two dummies and stabs another in the abdomen. The Gamemakers are impressed by her skills and she receives a score of 9.

District 9 Edit

Patrick Diome Edit

Patrick walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for him.

"Patrick Diome, District 9." He says plainly.

He turns to the weapons table and to his surprise, there is nothing there. He looks around the room and notices a series of plants directly in front of the Gamemakers. He walks up to the plants and misidentifies most of them due to nervousness. He turns to leave, but decides he has one more thing to show the Gamemakers. Vanishing from sight, the Gamemakers think him to have left the room. Suddenly, he appears behind the Head Gamemaker holding the wallet of another Gamemaker. He turns and hands the wallet back, and leaves the room. The Gamemakers are very impressed and he receives a score of 10.

Elise Powers Edit

Elise walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for her.

"Elise Powers, District 9." She says, sounding very nervous.

She knows she is strong, and can use a sword but her nervousness is overcoming her right now. After a few minutes, she finally grabs a sword and turns towards the dummies the Gamemakers have set up. At first her swings are weak, hardly leaving any impression on the dummies. She soon warmed up and overcame her nervousness, striking the dummies with purpose she takes down several of them. The Gamemakers are impressed by her skills, but not her nervousness. For this, she receives a score of 7.

District 10 Edit

Tyler King Edit

Tyler walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for him.

"Tyler King, District 10." He says with little purpose behind his voice.

Turning towards the weapons table, he grabs a small sword and begins to show off his skills. Though he is good, his small size means he is not strong and his hits do not do much damage. While the Gamemakers are impressed by his skills, they realize he doesn't do much damage. For this, he receives a score of 5.

Laura Crossbane Edit

Laura walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for her.

"Laura Crossbane, District 10." She says coldly.

Grabbing a sword, she attempts to show her skills with the weapon. She has a strong beginning, but drops the sword on accident. She leaves the sword there, and heads over to the survival skills area. Setting up a small fire, two traps and a tiny shelter in just over ten minutes. The Gamemakers are slightly impressed by her skills. For this, she receives a score of 8.

District 11 Edit

Lewis Rye Edit

Lewis walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for him.

"Lewis Rye, District 11." He says excitedly.

Turning towards the weapons table, he looks for a sword of suitable size. He finds one, picks it up and begins to slice at the dummies standing behind him. In his excitement, he misses some of the dummies and the Gamemakers take notice of this. Deciding he should show something else off, he heads to the camouflage area and blends himself into a tree. The Gamemakers are impressed by his camouflage skills, but not his swords skills. For this, he receives a score of 7.

Miana Shire Edit

Miana walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for her.

"Miana Shire, District 11." She says innocently.

Turning towards the weapons table, she sees an assortment of small swords and daggers. She grabs a dagger and stabs a dummy in the gut with it twice. Turning away from it, she sees the camouflage area and walks over to it. Painting herself into a bush, she impresses the Gamemakers. For this, she receives a score of 7.

District 12 Edit

Terex Evernhill Edit

Terex walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out.

"Terex Evernhill, District 12." He says, seemingly with no purpose.

He turns to the weapons table and grabs a spear off of it. Throwing it at a dummy, it hits it's target. Grabbing a sword from the table, he sinks it into a dummy's abdomen. The Gamemakers would of been impressed if he had shown more. For this, he receives a score of 5.

Adora Venustus Edit

Adora walks into the room and approaches the materials that the Gamemakers have set out for her.

"Adora Venustus, District 12." She says charmingly.

"You boys are cute." She says to the male Gamemakers. "Anyone care for a kiss? ... No?" She says while grabbing a pair of daggers. "Fine. Have it your way." She says as she sinks a dagger into a dummy's neck. Continuing, she rips the dagger from the dummy's neck and drives both into another's face. Taking one out, she stabs another dummy through the bottom of it's chin. The Gamemakers are impressed by her skills, but not by her attempt to seduce one of them. For this, she receives a score of 6.

You may sponsor any tribute that is not your own.
Every sponsor starts with $750.
The prices go up five dollars every day. (in game days, not real world days.)
You may only sponsor one tribute at a time. You are allowed to change the tribute you are sponsoring. You may only change your sponsored tribute twice.

Let the Games begin! Edit

Day 1 Edit

"They're in the tubes." A Gamemaker says.

"30 seconds." Another Gamemaker says.

The Tributes have been risen into the Arena. In a field, surrounded by a forest, standing in front of a bronze metal horn.

"10 seconds." The same Gamemaker says.

The Tributes are looking around at each other. Some are confident, some are nervous, and a few don't know how to feel.

"Five... Four... Three..." The Gamemaker says as the Tributes wait for the begin of what will be the death of 23 of them.

"Two... One. Begin!" The Gamemaker announces.

Cornucopia Bloodbath Edit

The Tributes all run for supplies as they step off of their pedestals. Atenea (1) sprints from her pedestal to the Cornucopia. The first one there, She grabs a bow and sends an arrow threw Tyler's (10) neck. He slams to the ground mid step and dies on impact.

Katie (4) grabs a backpack and begins to sprint away when another tribute grabs the bag from her. It's Draco (2), as she turns around he sinks a sword into her shoulder. She falls to the ground and bleeds out.

Kade (6) collides with Cassie (3) as she is running from the bloodbath. Tangled in each others legs, Kade (6) mistakes this as an attempt on his life. He grabs a rock and smashes the side of her head with it. She goes limp, as blood pours from her head.

Atenea (1) re-aims and sends an arrow into the back Tamora's (6) right shoulder. Tamora (6) falls to the ground momentarily, only to regain her footing as Zarahela (2) drops an axe onto her back. Zarahela (2) goes to swing again, but is struck on her side and thrown to the ground. It's Kade (6), he's come to aid his District partner. Zarahela (2) rolls from Kade (6) as he readies to hit her again. Kade (6) misses and dodges an arrow from Atenea (1). He grabs a pack a few feet from him, and takes off towards the Cornucopia Forest. Zarahela (2) gets up and finishes off Tamora (6).

The Blabberjay alliance (consisting of Patrick [9], Artur [3], Demanir [8], & Laura [10].) were able to grab two packs, a sword and a spear among the four of them and escaped into the Cornucopia Forest without being injured.

The young Mr. Rye (11) has been hiding out in the back of the Cornucopia. He has been terrified of moving for several minutes, but he sees an opening and takes it. Sprinting from inside of the Cornucopia, he grabs a pack and small sword from just in front of it.

"We got a runner!" Arran (1) shouts to the other Careers.

Arran (1) attempts to catch the young boy but due to his bum leg he cannot.

"I got this!" Atenea (1) shouts as Lewis (11) is sprinting away.

She aims, draws her arrow and let's it fly. Atenea (1) watches in anticipation, wondering for the duration of the arrow's flight whether or not it will strike Lewis (11). It does not, and she slams her fist into a plastic box next to her in anger. He makes it into the Cornucopia Forest safely, but keeps running.

Adora (12) has been watching from the side for a minute. Amazed at how quickly her counterparts descended into madness and chaos. Realizing her life is on the line, she eyes a pack of knives. Running over to it, she notices an untouched pack. Grabbing the knives on the run, she makes her way to the pack but trips as she gets to it.

Draco (2) and Arran (1) approach. "Well, well. Look what we got here." Draco (2) says, eyeing the beautiful Ms. Venustus (12).

He prepares his sword, but Adora (12) reacts to fast for him. Stabbing Draco (2) in the leg with one of her knives, she stands up and bolts it out of there. She makes it to the Cornucopia Forest in one piece.

Katelynn (5) must of had the good hand that day, because she was the closest to any of the supplies. Deciding that her best chances lay in outlasting the other tributes, she grabs the pack directly in front of her and books it from the Cornucopia and doesn't stop until she's past the Cornucopia Forest. She made it to the Rain-Forest without being hurt.

However, Jerome (5), Ms. Huxley's district partner, did not fair quite as well. He was the furthest from any supplies or weapons. Not outstandingly fast and not the best of fighters, he tries to grab what he can. He sprints towards the Cornucopia but is struck down by Atlas (7) before he can make it there.

Miana (11) has been standing next to Terex (12) since the countdown hit zero. Neither of them are sure of what to do. Suddenly, a knife finds itself embedded into Terex's (12) shoulder. He drops to his knees, and looks up to see who his attacker his. It's Zeus Hardwick, of District 8. Zeus (8) sends another knife to Terex (12) and it hits him just below his throat. Dropping to the ground, Terex (12) bleeds out from his wounds.

Zeus (8) isn't done just yet, though, as he throws one a Miana. The knife dives into her right thigh and she drops to one knee.

"Please!" She shouts as Zeus (8) runs by her.

He had never intended to kill Miana (11), just wound. He wanted the pack she and Terex (12) were standing in front of. Grabbing the pack, Zeus (8) escapes into the Cornucopia Forest, and then the Desert without incident.

Hermia (7) had to this point in the Bloodbath been hiding out behind the Cornucopia with a pack and two axes. She decided she would let the others kill each other and then book it out of there. She saw an opening, and took it. Though it was not as open as she thought.Arran (1) comes around the corner of the Cornucopia wall and she runs into him.

"Shit!" She yells and they hit the ground.

"You bitch!" He yells at Hermia (7) as he throws her off of him.

She springs to her feet and begins to sprint away. Hermia sprints past Miana (11), who was laying on the ground in pain from her leg wound, and into the Cornucopia Forest without further incident. However, she alerted the Careers to Miana's (11) continued existence.

Arran (1) walks over to Miana (11). He looks her over for a quick moment before plunging his sword into her chest, ending her life.

Tide (4) had, to this point, been content with letting his allies do the dirty work. He sat on a metal container inside the Cornucopia and watched as the others killed each other, wanting to conserve his strength.

Atlas (7) was one of the first Tributes to the Cornucopia. He grabbed an axe, a small bag and attempted to run for the Cornucopia Forest. He was, however, unsuccessful. He was on a collision course with Kade (6). Though he tried to move, he didn't and Kade ran into him at full force. Kade (6) was fine and jumped to his feet and continued running into the Cornucopia Forest.

Atlas (7), however, had broken his ankle in the collision. He lay in agony for several minutes before any of the Tributes heard him.

"I hear screams." Tide (4) said "I'm gonna check em' out."

Atlas (7) could hear Tide coming and prepared himself as best he could. He pulled a small tomahawk from out of his bag and waited for Tide to be within striking distance.

"Good bye." He said as he prepared to sink his sword into Atlas' (7) chest.

"And to you!" Atlas (7) shouted as he struck Tide's right calf with his tomahawk, bringing the District 4 Tribute to his knees. Atlas stood up as best he could and hobbled into the Cornucopia Forest. Tide cried out for help from his allies and they came to his aid, helping him back to the Cornucopia.

"Where is Ms. Powers? The female from District 9." Claudius asked his Caesar.

"I'm not sure, I didn't even see her during the Bloodbath." Caesar responded.

"How curious..." Claudius said as the broadcast of Day 1 ended.

Day 2 Edit

Around six AM, Atlas (7) is woke up by the chime of the 57th Hunger Games first sponsor gift. It's a first aid kit, intended to heal his broken ankle. Atlas applied the contents of the kit to his ankle. With the brace that came in the kit, he was able to walk as if his ankle had never been hurt but he was unable to run.
