This is an RP blog for the 76th annual Hunger Games.
The war is over. The rebels have won, and the Capitol has fallen. The rebels have decided to hold one last symbolic Hunger Games – exclusively for the Capitol.
There will be 30 children reaped from the Capitol – 15 girls and 15 boys between the ages of 12-18. They will have to fight to death and in the end; the remaining Tribute gets the life of what a normal victor would get.
We will have the interviews and the Private Training sessions. We will, however, not have any chariot rides because they were such a flop in my last games, and we don’t really have themes and districts. Neither will we have Reapings.
Rules[]
- Only four tributes per person.
- You will have to be active handling your tributes.
- I will accept Tributes purely on a first come first serve basis.
- I will accept Tributes only from registered users, and only if the tributes are posted as a comment or are on your profile.
- When in a fight, you cannot simply say "And the other tribute died." The other tribute has to agree. But the tribute who is supposed to say cannot say "I will not die." everytime. If the Tribute has received a fatal wound and can find no way to cure it, I will add the Tribute to the death list.
- For stuff like the interview, you have to give your by the end of one week after I comment telling you to start giving your posts. If anyone gives a post after one week without a valid reason, the tribute of that person will be be handed over to a person willing to handle the tribute.
- During the games, there will be no deadline to post. But if your tribute is attacked, you have to post within four days. See above rule to see what will happen if you don't.
- For users with multiple Tributes : When one of your tributes dies, the money you had for that tribute will be added to the money you have for any of the other LIVING tributes. If all your tributes are dead, the money will mysteriously vanish.

You can sponsor a tribute even if you are not part of these games, or are a mentor. Each Sponsor gets $250. You can signup to be a sponsor any time. You just have to comment on this blog or message me on my talk page with the name of the tribute(s) you want to sponsor. You can sponsor up to three tributes, and you can sponsor your own tribute(s). The gifts a sponsor sends to a tribute will first reach the mentor; then the mentor can decide what to do. He can put aside the gift for later or send it to the Tribute then and there. Benjamin: I volunteered because my Little Brother was called. But I'm happy because I really wanted to be a piece of this Capitol Hunger Games.

(I hear a scream through the crowd and I laugh then sit down on the chair comfortably.)

(The crowd laughs and I smile and laugh along.)

Caesar: So Al Tell me about your Reaping.
Al: First of all I’d like to say to the game makers what a very nice meal I had with them (smiles). Okay well my reaping is kinda sad. I saw many faces crying and I almost cried myself.

Al: I don’t know all of them so I don’t care if I kill them or not but I was kinda surprised when I knew another Son was reaped.

Jake: Tobi will. Hands down. She will also have me to help her... and if not... then I will do everything to win. One of us will get home. I won’t let both of us die like our father.

Evan: Thanks Caesar. I have a dispute, I am nervous but very excited as I have always wondered after watching it for so long, how much fun I will have in the games.
Caesar: Well, were rooting for you, but tell us something, what were you thinking when you were reaped along with the other kids?
Evan: I was slightly scared as everyone else is so big, but would everyone be? I was also slightly shocked as I had so few slips in the reaping ball.
Caesar: So what do you think about the other tributes?
Evan: Most of the other kids are very athletic, I was not that type when I was younger but do not think that many of them have an advantage over me.
Caesar: We’re almost out of time but one more question. Do you really think you can win?
Evan: I am sure of it and I will do my best.

Caesar: What do you think about this year's tributes?
Halo: They are a bunch of wimps. Being from the Capitol, they never had to do any sort of fighting and they never went without food.
Caesar: Uh, you're from the Capitol too.
Halo: I was getting to that. I've always been a big fan of the Hunger Games, so my dad paid for me to get spear fighting lessons. And boy, they sure have worked. I'm amazing with the spear.
Caesar: So every single one of the tributes is a wimp?
Halo: Most of them. I would consider making an alliance with Drina, Draco, Luna, Lillianna, Perdere, Barnabas, and Vaughn. I'm hoping whoever survives the bloodbath of these tributes become sort of like the Careers. I know we can dominate and I know I can win.

Caesar : What do you think of this year’s tributes?
Perdere : Well, seeing as no one has done much training I think everyone is very strong this year. There’s a few in particular, but no - one major. I've seen worse, I've seen better. But I think we do have a pretty good bunch.

Lana: Hmmm... Pretty okay. I see some with potential. I see others who I can defeat easily. And there are also those who can be pretty good allies. I'm impressed with the skills of some of them.
Caesar: Are you excited to go into the Games?
Lana: Yes. More than anything. I'll do my best to win. I'm determined to do so and not let anyone stand in my way. A few allies will do but at the end, bye bye. If I die, well, too bad. I'm just pretty sure that my skills, senses, and knowledge will save me. Final 3 at least. That's my goal. Final 3.

Tobi: Well... *says quietly* no one came. All I really have left is my brother and I, but of course, he was in a different room, alone as well. My mother wasn't there. She didn't know until training. *a tear runs down her cheek* and my father died in the rebellion.
Caesar: I am very sorry, can you please tell me about your Reaping.
Tobi: *Tobi composes herself* It was a curse and a blessing for me. I looked over at Jake and he looked a million miles away. He looked very troubled, but me, I've always wanted to be in the hunger games just like my father and mother. Can you keep a secret Caesar? *winks* because, *looks comically left and right and stage whispers* Finnick and Annie are Jake and I's parents.

Saafra : Well, seeing as no - one has trained for these games, well I mean train to kill. I think everyone is really talented, I mean everyone has got amazing training scores. Mine might have not been the highest, but I'd watch out for me if I were you."

Penelo: Stop it, Caesar.
Caesar: Well the Capitol will keep a close eye on you during the games.

Ashe: Hello Caeser, and hello to the perfect audience. (Blows kiss to the audience)
Caesar: Are you excited to go into the Games?
Ashe: I wouldn't say I'm excited, there’s only a slim chance of me winning. I doubt a lot of the tributes are excited but I'm prepared and I'm sure the lovely audience won't let me die. (waves to the audience)
Caesar: Tell me about your reaping.
Ashe: When my name was called a lot of people looked upset, my mother was heart-broken and my boyfriend Ferris couldn't do anything but luckily he didn't get reaped. I remember being taken away and I couldn't say a word.

The Arena[]
The main arena is on a triangular island. The island is entirely covered in sand and a few odd palm trees here and there. There is the Cornucopia in the middle; to the west of the Cornucopia is a large jungle. After the Jungle is the beach. But the Jungle is full of rabid animals and carnivorous plants; but there are also edible plants and plenty of animals to hunt. To the east of the Cornocupia is an are of tall grass filled with all kinds of mutts; but there are lots of edible plants and huntable reptiles. To the South of the Cornucopia is a rocky area; there are streams and caves. To the North of the Cornucopia, there isn't much; just a few mysterious huts and a vast area of beach. The island is sorrounded with an ocean which is extremely deep and full of Shmutts (shark mutts; they bite you and you turn into a shark). If you manage to get past the ocean, you reach an island which is full of food and poses no dangers; unless, of course, another tribute is there to hunt you. This island (I call it Gift Island) can only be reached using a raft and paddles, which can be purchased by the sponsors and mentors. Drinkable water sources on the Cornucopia island are the streams in the rocky area, a pond in the very center of the forest, and another 'mysterious' source which you will have to guess for yourself. None of the seawater is drinkable. Of course, Gift Island has plenty of water.

Day 1[]
Part 1 : The Bloodbath[]
Female Tribute Saffra Keene[]
GONG. I run as fast as I can to the cornucopia. I see an axe so I immediately pick it up and swing it into a tributes head. Jeramy Son. I grab a flask of water, a loaf of bread, Sleeping bag, instant relief and also some poison and soup. I put them in a backpack and stay at the Cornucopia, waiting for other kills. I grab some knifes as well.
Female Tribute Tobi Odair and Male Tribute Jake Odair[]
Tobi and Jake glance at each other just as the gong rings out. Tobi runs and grabs a bow and a quiver of arrows. She shoots Vanessa Som, who falls down. Jake reaches a trident at the same time as Chess. They struggle for a bit, but then Jake snaps her neck and gets the trident. On his way out, he gets a flask of water and dried meat. Tobi grabs a flask of water, instant relief and a pack of nuts before running off. Tobi and Jake run from the cornucopia to the beach where Tobi receives a raft and Jake gets a pair of paddles. They get in the raft and head towards the island, hoping it's safe.
Female Tribute Lilianna Maganachi and Male Tribute Benjamin Woodrew[]
Both of them go to the bloodbath. Lilianna will grab a Throwing Axe while Benjamin will grab a spear. They will kill tributes as much as possible but make sure they will have a backpack to survive.
Female Tribute Perdere Hayes[]
GONG. I run off and grab some knifes and a bow and arrow. I also grab a backpack and the following items: A sleeping bag, instant relief, poison, soup, dried meat, rope and a flask of water. I run off into the woods and stay in the trees. I dip my weapons in poison.
Male Tribute Azmir Harriot[]
GONG. I run off the pedestal and grab a sword, the sharpest I can find. I also grab a spear. I grab a backpack as well and fill it up with medicines including instant relief and burn cream, a flask of water, poison, blanket, matches and a loaf of bread. I see some anti itch next to some Itch cream and I pick it up. I stay with the rest of the "careers". When I see someone running to me I almost immediately react, I fling out my sword and stab them in the heart. Valentine Sundapple. I don't hear a cannon but I know they are dead; the cannons will be heard at the end of the bloodbath. Like usual.
Male Tribute Al Son[]
I realized I need to run. I run as fast as possible while grabbing some stuff. A trident, net, flask of water, loaf of bread, meat, some painkillers and a vial of poison.
I saw Saffra killing Jeramy."Damn!"
I ran around and saw Drina Vox and instantly killed her with my Trident.
"Damn" I said it once again and run in the rocky area as fast as possible.
Female Tribute Cora Mark[]
GONG! Cora Mark ran to the cornucopia and saw Vanessa Som die. She decides that is not fair. She receives a raft and paddles, and kills Tobi Odair at Gift Island. She sees Jake Odair cry so she cuts off one off his arms then runs away. She goes and makes an alliance with Dustin Many and Annabelle Isa at Gift Island.
Male Tribute Dustin Manny[]
GONG! Dustin Manny sneaks around the cornucopia and takes a sword and kills Benjamin Woodrew with it and takes his stuff. He does not kill his alliance. He paddles away to Gift Island and makes an alliance with Cora Mark and Annabelle Isa.
Female Tribute Annabelle Isa[]
GONG! Annabelle runs to the cornucopia and takes a knife then rows to Gift Island.
Female Tribute Lana Hawking[]
GONG. I jump of the pedestal and head towards the Cornucopia. Someone throws a spear at me and I dodge, and grab a bow and quiver at the same time. I quickly sling the quiver over my shoulder and run over to the other side to grab two swords, (one is smaller than the other) which I stuff in my belt. I roll over to a backpack then sprint towards the forest. After running several meters, I quietly check my back where I see some rope and a box of matches. Not much but it's enough. I hack off some barks of wood and yank off some leaves and use them to cover myself. Time to wait.
Male Tribute Draco Adams[]
I hear the gong and run off my plate. I head towards the cornucopia and grab a sword. I start to attack tributes. I then grab 2 spears. I see Barnabus Collins and Luna Tickle who look pretty good for allies. I run after them, grabbing a sleeping bag and some bandages on the way. I ask them if they want an alliance and they accept.
Female Tribute Luna Tickle[]
I head for the cornucopia, running at full speed. I grab a bow, a quiver of arrows, a blanket, a pack of nuts and a loaf of bread. I run towards Barnabus Collins and ask for an alliance. He accepts. Then Draco Adams runs towards us and asks us for an alliance. I accept.
Male Tribute Barnabus Collins[]
After I run off my plate I grab a spear, even though they're not my best weapon. I grab a blanket, a coil of wire and a coil of rope. They would come in handy. I see Luna Tickle run towards me so I grab my spear. She asks for an alliance. I nod and we prepare to run away. Then Draco Adams comes running towards us and asks for an alliance. Luna accepts.
Gamemaker Edit[]
The gamemakers press a button, and the mines around the plates detonate. All the tributes who were still on their plates explode immediately. Not very pretty, but this is the Hunger Games. The voice of Plutarch Heavensbee - head Gamemaker AND announcer for these games - burts out of the speakers. "THAT is what happens to Tributes who are too lazy to step off their plates!" he says triumphantly.

Write about what your tributes do in the second half of Day 2. They can hunt, gather, kill, explore, anything! Give it by the 22nd of June, 2012, or else your tribute will die.
