Jennifer Lawrence's "Hunger Games" reinvention is complete!
The stunning blonde Oscar nominee already unveiled her new brunette do and posed in character as Katniss Everdeen on a recent Entertainment Weekly magazine cover -- but she looked utterly unrecognizable in first pics from the Hildebran, North Carolina set of the film.
Lawrence looked almost dowdy -- her curves covered up -- in a simple blue dress and sneakers and seemingly little makeup.
She knew what she was getting into, though, taking on the role from the blockbuster series. "I knew that as soon as I said yes, my life would change," she told Entertainment Weekly.

Just one day after Jennifer Lawrence set the Interwebs abuzz with the debut of her "Hunger Games" look on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, she let her newly chocolate-colored locks flow free as she stepped out in New York for a taping of the "Late Show" with David Letterman.
The 20-year-old actress, who earned some grumbles when she won the coveted role of Katniss Everdeen in March, seems determined to show that she can do brunette just as successfully as she does blonde.
