I’m a senior at the University of Southern California and I’m currently working on an extensive research project for one of my classes about the Hunger Games franchise and whether or not the Hunger Games movie has expanded the Hunger Games fan base. As fan and admin for the Hunger Games Wiki, I think you have valuable insight and I would love to do a short interview with you by telephone or email.

Hi, I am Hermione Chase, an admin at Camp Half-Blood Wiki, I believe one of your affiliates. Now recently, a user in the name of Whisper 122 has said that she has been threatened by this user on both Camp Half-Blood wiki and The Hunger Games wiki. The user had apparently said he was tracking her down and she must stay off Wikia or he will kill her. According to Whisper 122 this is the second time he has threatened her. Chat banEdit

Today on chat I was playing about with chat hacks spamming the AFK button and Chat moderator Justafox banned me for "making the chat bar move and not stopping when told to" that was his quote as to why I was banned. He also once again called me Leonard despite my many warnings for him to stop NOTE: After Justafox came on I did not hit the AFK button again and I was never given a warning by him even though he gave Rueforever a warning for swearing in chat the other day. Lies, I was on my rp account. And he knows that it's one of my others account. He was making the chat bar move, so I told him to stop. He can handle the powerEdit

Ok, about Sam and Daves reports about Dannoh this is a very, very long thing that started with him calling me names to borderline harrasment which I am more than happy to submit screenshots of.

Dave was kicked because he was both arguing with Dannoh and disrupting chat with the latter being grounds for banning I think. AWESOME S4MU3L came in after Dave was kicked and should as such have no rights to say anything about Dannoh in this argument. This all spiralled after Dave called me an "ass" meaning donkey which he quoted from the bible which I took as more offensive and I told him I would call it harasment and I knew either Dannoh or HeavyRotation who wasn't present during the rest of this would kick or kickban him. He then argued for the best part of 2 ish hours I believe and refused to stop despite being asked to by Dannoh. sadly due to hitting the wrong key I lost the ability to screenshot. Dannoh's actions are rationalized by Dave arguing with me, CallamD97, Dannoh403 and while present HeavyRotation. I appreciate you taking your time to read this and look forward to your reply.

Objection!Edit

First off, Dave nor Samuel have signed they're message correctly with the 4 tildes second. never on the internet has the second ammendment been declared in effect on the internet and since the internet is global many laws conflict and the rules of the internet are different to rules in certain countries. A similar thing to this occured a few months ago when SOPA occured and the US tried to censor the internet which caused major backlash and was scrapped. There are no actual ammendments in effect on the internet and the ammendments conflict with the rules of the wiki and since both Dave and Samuel's arguments are supported entirely on the claim of the second ammendment. There's no actual argument here for Dave or Samuel. I also noticed the closing to Samuel's previous post ends with something that can be turned in his favour by saying in future that you may have picked Dannoh's side becuase he's a mod and then go to someone higher up and complaining you're biased. My arguments are well well put and grammatically correct.

Recently two users, AW3SOM3 S4AM3L and Daveforeva. Reported Dannoh403 for abuse of his mod rights. I was present at the time and noted these things.

1) Dave and Samuel are brothers so they would protect each other

2) They pressingly argued when 3 moderators had told them to stop ( Asfbn, Dannoh403 and HeavyRotation)

Wikipedia defines Harassment as

‘Harassment covers a wide range of behaviours of an offensive nature. It is commonly understood as behaviour intended to disturb or upset, and it is characteristically repetitive. In the legal sense, it is intentional behaviour which is found threatening. Disturbing or annoying

Dave called DBD an ‘ass’ which he later said he meant as donkey. This is offensive as a donkey is a feral beast and to compare a human to such an animal is a revolting judgement on someone’s character; previously to this Dave did the following

Dave: Callam

Me: Yes?

Dave: Can I call you Irish Kitten

Me: No

Dave: Why?

Me: Because I don’t want you to

Dave: That’s not a reason; I’m calling you it anyway

I find this to be harassment as it is annoying and he didn’t respect my wishes of what to be called. He did this today (29^th of August) to DBD by repeatedly calling him his real name which he asked for him not to do so.

This harassment continues to this day where DBD and I, would like to drop the subject, but it is constantly brought into subject by Dave and his brother.

I feel that Dannoh is an amazing moderator and does his job perfectly.

The fact that Dave reported him after he was kicked seems childish and petty. I believe that we should resolve this issue by

1) Keeping Dannoh as a mod

2) Warning Dave about his conduct

3) Enlightening users on the parameters of harassment.

Expect more from me.

While chilling in a chat the other day I noticed something called Multi-PM and permanent chat hacks. I began testing with 2 users Dannoh403 and RavenRT. At 2:38AM BST RavenRT sent the HG wiki's first ever Multi-PM. I noticed on the other chat it's pema on, would there be a way to achieve that on this wiki's chat as well as chat hacks since some users don't have the same computers and some can't open what is necessary to activate chat hacks.

Necterine, on the websites I linked you to about D13.pn and the capitol. the capitol has a FB connect to get your own Panem ID. Dave keeps making up excuses for him, yet doesn't defend his brother. Also, his arguement in invalid. DBD's evidence is legit, and to prove my point, I will add this section from the Terms and Conditions of Wikia:

I was reading up on COPPA since I think it shouldn't be a matter of age to be on this wiki and discovered something interesting.

"how to seek verifiable consent from a parent or guardian"

This means if Lexi's mom/mum (uk style) to give her permission to be here it's not a violation of COPPA and Lexi would be allowed back on all information ever given out is entirely their own choice and since they have permission from a parent or guardian there is no violation of COPPA

I feel the need to mention that our rules concerning COPPA are set in place by Wikia, not this specific wiki. "Wikia" is the website in question, and Wikia's policy (which doesn't allow exceptions, such as having proof of parental permission) is what we must follow. The Hunger Games Wiki can't just make up its own rules. I imagine Wikia would need to keep a record of any permissions if they allowed exceptions like that, since this is a legal matter. -TagAlongPam (talk) 01:54, September 18, 2012 (UTC)

Unfairly kickbannedEdit

Hi Necterine me &Lily! were unfairly kickbanned. We were talking and Thomasb97 played like a joke on Lily! I wasnt there but I got on when they were fighting and then Thomas said we were being sassy so Lily! told him that what we said was sassy since he kept kicking us for doing nothing. Then I was like "Wow. :O"and he goes "Thats what happens" and we said I was being sassy multiple times and I told him that he was also being sassy. And he says "ok kaitlyn you asked for it"and I he says we want to apologize and I said "no"and I get kickbanned. I think this unfair because Thomas was also being mean.

You were being extremely rude to Thomas, and also Lily was being extremely rude and sassy. You and Lily kept on saying something about how Thomas's opinion sucked, and you just kept on continously harassing him. Learn your lesson in the three days you were kickbanned. Okay IDK what Happened, But I kinda agree on Kaitlyn on this one, I have read the rules, And they say nothing about being Sassy And When they Said Your opinoin sucks That was there opinion Heavy, And 3 days is way to much! DBD modshipEdit

I know this is been debated but here is proof. DBD is biased. He banned LaurenX3 for being a sock, then wanted proof she was allowed a second account.

He saw this proof yet he refuses to unban her as he says it could be anyone. This shows he is biased and refuses to unban her despite the evidence he asked for. This is another added concern along with the heavy band he has had under bothe his names (yes he has 2 names, his other is KSIlongshotz or somethign), his lack of edits and overall respect. I along with multiple other believe he makes a decent but heavily biased and threatening mod.

Hi! I do agree with you about fitting the requiremnets, but DBD has been a great mod. I dont think the edits matter, he has proven that his always on. That link does show that she was sent an email but how do we know that that could've been someone to make it look like an email sent from community central. I say we should get a community center staff to clarify this email. I dont think he is a threating mod. On multiple occainsion when you accused Ranger1434 that she is Nightcore and she told you to stop but you didnt and DBD (a mod) asked you to stop because you had no right to accuse her without any proof. Guys edits do matter, have you looked at the rules. They must have no serious kickbans or blocks. Over 30 mainspace edits. And must be respected by users. And been here a months. He only meets 1/2 of these edits. As he is kinda respected and has been here a month. But he does have serious bans, and 3 mainspace edits. 1 thing I do want to say is I have no problem with DBD being a mod but I think its unfair he skipped the nomination process. And I think better candidates are being missed, like Anna and Dani and Callam.

Ok, I see what ryan means by biased but the thing is every mod is more lenient with one user than another, take me and fox. He banned me for making chat bar move and gave Lauren a warning for swearing. I would like to say I have taken Lauren's off infinite and changed it to 1 day after her comments about me which were explicit. If you have percieved me as threatening in any way I would like to apologise as such. I've stopped 3 spam attacks and made 2 perma bans for socking in the past week since I was given modship and I would want to stay mod if I can prove myself a valuable and reliable mod in the future.

I was recently on chat and there is this girl Ranger1536 or whatever and she keeps getting called Dave by TBWTPT and if she does something similar like use the same thing Dave uses as a gretting he flipps out saying "YOU DAVE" and also this has spreading out. Fluffeh Kitteh & TheCocoPuffsGuy have also been accusing him of being Dave. "RAGER WE ALL KNOW YOU ARE DAVE SO STOP DENYING IT" Thats what TheCocoPuffsGuy says. Hey Necterine =)

I just wanted to tell someone.

First, I gotta apologize. This is kinda long XD |D

Today I was stalking the old new files archives, which was kind of ironic. And I saw the names of a lot of older users. A lot of my friends who I haven't seen in forever. What happened to 2011? Why did everything have to change now.... You were my first friend, tbch. First games I entered in. We joined around the same time, I didn't know what an admin was, but nothing was important to me.

I remember those days.

I remember when the chats were actually meaningful, actually had a topic.

I remember when I was lighter and happier. Maybe some of the reasons why I'm so uptight about everything is because of how sad I get when I remember what this wiki used to be like, and I remember being able to talk, without people sending messages so fast I could hardly get a word in before they moved on to the next topic and made me look like an idiot when I hit send.

I wish I didn't start fights. People argue whether to hate me or not.

I wish the wiki wasn't so cluttered with Games. I remember when it wasn't treated like one big social networking site.

When everything was new to me.

Do you ever think back?

Do you remember someone who's just... left? I miss 2011. I miss it.

I remember meeting you for the first time. I remember the conversations we had. I remember reading your games.

They're still the best Games I've read to this date. Oh yes, I've read some amazing ones, but yours were just... special. You're gonna be a writer, girl. =3

You're a great person, Necterine, and I hope you go far, and life treats you well. You deserve it, ~~even if it is nectArine~~ and I'm glad to have a friend like you.

Hi Necterine411 I made that forum when I first joined, But it has kinda died down. People still think of me being "Dave" But know not much, A User User:TheBoyWithThePikachuTattoo got banned from chat for 3 days because he kept harrasing me, Since chat has gone people haven't really accused. But User:Fluffeh Kitteh Proves that I wasn't "Dave" Stating: "Dave doesn't have the same timezone as Ranger, Ranger is Canadian and Dave is American. That is why we haven't seen Dave that much" Well thanks anyways Necterine411 I agree because maybe sometimes new user's come on be all like "What" or "What is going on!?!?!"
