Actually, I would like a new logo. The one up is just those buttons (as you know...) Your mocking jay idea sounds great! I don't think we want to get all that fancy on the logo, so simple may be better here. Hi! *wave* Since you're the active admin, I thought I'd let you know I'll be redesigning the main page here either today or tomorrow. Just didn't want you to be in the dark, this is a Wikia Inc. sanctioned redesign, but let me know if you have any thoughts or concerns about the final product. :)

- Sure thing! :) I saw that star* had asked you about it, and you accepted, but were still not an admin... So hey, did you start up the Twilight wiki? Someone was saying you had, & I'm trying to get them to change "The Creator" award to be able to be handed out to whomever started the wiki. The way it sits now, it's not a retroactive award, can't be handed out, and the award system is not (yet) something that is automatically in effect on a wiki when it is newly created. All of the weapons articles are stubs. Shouldn't they be compiled into one Weapons page?

Question on TitlesEdit
Hi Pam, I was thinking about starting the character page for Commander Paylor. Do you think the title of the page should be "Commander Paylor" or just "Paylor"? With Coin and Snow I believe their titles include "President" beforehand but not sure if we ought to do that with "Commander". Not sure if you can fix this or not but is there any way that you can make it so that when you click on "Characters" from the menu on the left side that it could take you to this page: http://thehungergames.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Characters
Instead of this page: http://thehungergames.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_Characters
The Category page is automatically updated whenever we add an article to the "Character" category but the List of Characters page has to be updated by adding the name of every new character.
If not, let me know and I'll get to working on adding the new characters to the list. Thanks!

Do you think you could add Annie Cresta to the list of Characters in the Mockingjay Character link on the left (You know what I'm talking about, right)?????? Hi, thank you for appreciating my work. It's not much but I'll try correcting the grammar the best way I could. I'm a huge fan of The Hunger Games trilogy myself and I've finished the Mockingjay yesterday. To tell you, instead of reviewing for exams, I did pull off the 27 chapter novel. I love it!
I like you're initiative for making this wiki. In time, when THG the movie would be released, this site will surely be a must-see. But before that, we must prepare. We need sufficient info. I'll try reread the book and hopefully I could get all the details. Anyway, I don't think THG should last until 3 books. I hope Suzanne Collins will make another. Not entirely another, but another to continue Katniss's story. I mean, we knew her abilities in archery and everything but we're lack of information about her unpredictable personality. However, since the story's not much on Katniss's private life but to the truth about too much power.
Well, sorry for reading this long letter. I am a school journalist and hopefully by next year (I'll be editor-in-chief as well), I would astound everyong with a full page story about THG. I'm sure, everyone in school will love it.

Thanks for welcoming me. I wanna help as much as I can to make this Wiki awesome! I love the Hunger Games and really respect the fact you set this up before I managed to! I have but a few questions:
When writing an article, or editing for that matter, should I use past, present or future tense?
Do we have to run a big change past you every time?
Are you as madly exited for the film as I am?
When the film comes out, how will we tackle that?

Hunger Games Dates Edit
(If you've not read The Hunger Games Trilogy, this contains some rather big spoilers)
I noticed something a while ago when I was reading Mockingjay. Katniss describes the date in District 13 at a point as the first day of September, which she relates as five or six weeks wince Snow took Peeta. I was thinking it would be posible to get an approximate date for the start of the Hunger Games (Event) from this because it would be simple enough to work your way back through the days spent in the arena before the breakout. I would do this, but I lent my copy of Catching Fire to a friend ages ago and am yet to get it back, but it would be simple enough for someone else to read through the time spent in the arena and then count backward from the 1st of September. I though this might be useful for providing a frame of reference as to when the fictional games happen annually.

What I mean is that is saves my work, like the words and stuff, but the indentation is all wacky and the spacing changes even if I go back multiple times and fix it. It is very annoying, and very hard to read. By the way, thanks for the help!

Lionsgate hasn't confirmed it on their official Facebook page. Every casting that they've made so far as been posted on their Facebook page. The Elizabeth Banks casting has not. Lionsgate did, however, confirm that she was in talks for Effie. She probably will end up getting the role, but she has not gotten it yet.
Also, I just noticed this, but the article lists John C. Reilly as being cast. His PR people or whatever confirmed that he hasn't gotten an offer yet, either.

It was mentioned at the end of the article, I think. "The Hunger Games comes to theaters March 23rd, 2012 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Leven Rambin, Willow Shields, Paula Malcomson, John C. Reilly. The film is directed by Gary Ross. "
Yup. I'm assuming they meant it like he was cast, as all the others are cast members...
