Wow! The reapings are here!!!! This is the FIRST Hunger Games, and by the sounds of it, this is my kind of thing! I sit in the 14 year-old section, my little sister in the 12 year olds. Her brown hair is tied up and he is ready to go! Suddenly, a loud tapping is on the microphone and I turn excitedly to the stand. A weird man with pink and gold hair stands before us (the crowd, duh) and reads this boring passage. We're there for like, a year, before I catch the rules.
One: Kill and don't be killed
Two: Last person alive is the Victor
Three: Who ever is the Victor is alive forever!!! Until they die of assationation, disease, etc.
SWEET!!! I watch as the akward Capitol man goes to a glass jar and announces loudly:
"NOW FOR THE LUCKY LADY!!" The mic squeals in protest, but I DON'T CARE!!!! He plucks out a name.
"VENUS TRULOVE!" A girl shrieks as her best friend is torn from her. Venus, a truly powerful girl, and hot at that, is put at the stand. The mentor smiles.
"Now I know that some of you are dissapointed, but at this time, a person may voulenteer to take the place of the chosen lady or man!" Immediately, the result started. Venuses friend, Zara I think, ran up and pushed her friend down. The man smiled. "And you are?"
"Zara Gold," She says. Her blonde hair sweeps across her gorgeous face. I sigh, then regain as the weird man digs around for a guy.
"Col-"
"I VOULENTEEERRRR!!!!" I scream and race up. "I'm JASON COLBALT!!!!!!"
I smile as I am ready to go to THE GAMES!!!!!!
