150th Hunger Games - Quell

Hey guys, I just finished my first Games, the 175th Hunger Games, and it went quite well, so I'm back with another!

I will only write the training scores and the Games. No reapings, group training, individual training, or interviews. Sorry!

It will be first come, first serve this time, but if I don't like your tribute, I won't put them in. Just because I'm picking it first come, first serve does NOT mean you are allowed to make your tribute low quality.

Quell Twist[]

At random times every day in the arena, a bell will go off and music will begin to play. The tributes must drop everything they're doing and sing. They do not have to sing the entire song, but they MUST sing at least one part. They cannot kill, eat, drink, etc until the song is over. The only thing tributes are allowed to do during the song besides singing is move. If you do not sing at least one part in the song, the Gamemakers will kill you.

The twist has nothing to do with the rebellion. It is simply just to amuse the Gamemakers, Capitol, and citizens of Panem.

I got the idea while listening to Some Nights by Fun and imagining the tributes from Cloveismywife's 225th Hunger Games singing it.

The inspiration for the bell going off at random times and forcing everyone to sing is taken from Total Drama World Tour, because whenever a bell rung, the contestants had to drop everything and sing. If they didn't sing, they were eliminated.

Things you should know[]

District 13 and the Capitol are also included.
LIMIT IS THREE TRIBUTES PER USER.
I don't really want brother/sister pairs this time around.
If you submit multiple tributes, they must all be from different districts. I don't want one person to have an entire district to themself.
I don't do profiles because I like new tributes, and tributes on profiles are more likely to be used.
I WILL do reservations. They will last for one day.
If two people submit a tribute to the same district, I will just pick the tribute I like better. If I like both tributes, I will ask one of the users if they would mind moving their tribute to another district.
- Example: Arena Dallow in my previous Games. None of the districts she wanted were available, but I really liked her, so her owner was okay with me putting her in the only female spot left, which was D5 female.
If you can't make a lunaii, you can give me a description and I will make it for you. If you use a picture of a real person, I will make it into a lunaii.
Don't get mad if your tribute dies. I'll probably love all the tributes I pick at one point or another, but we know only one can win.
I also tend not to curse a lot. The worst word I ever say is crap. So, I hope you'll be okay with it.

Day 1- Bloodbath[]

District 1- Terriana Transylvestia[]

I say goodbye to my stylist as the tube rises up. I see the arena. The Cornucopia is on a hill, with forest and water surrounding the bottom. The countdown begins, and I'm getting ready to sprint over to the pile of weapons. 51, 50, 49...

District 7- Sriani Froste[]

37, 36, 35...I hate waiting. I want it to just begin so I can start killing. How long can it take to deactivate a mine? 25, 24, 23...Ugh. I can't take the waiting. I scan the tributes. Most of them look weak to average, except the Careers and a few others. 12, 11, 10. 10 seconds left. I try to be as patient as I can. 3, 2, 1. BELL! Huh? A bell instead of a gong? Suddenly, the head announcer's voice booms through the arena.

"Attention, tributes! Since we have decided that each tribute should have to sing at least once, there will be a song before the bloodbath begins. This is a song you have all learned in training. If you do not sing, we will kill you. Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor!"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! A SONG? NOW!?

We wait for the music, then we realize none is playing. Oh, I know this song.

Continuation of bloodbath[]

District 6- Alina Concord[]

Finally. That stupid song is over. Why did I even take one of the solos? Whatever. We hear the gong, for real this time, and run. I run to a tiny backpack, sense no danger, then run in further to grab a knife. I run off to the forested area.

District 2- Kila Marinlie[]

The other Careers and I grab as much supplies as we can carry. I see Delalie (12) and Mors (13) running off, and I throw my trident at Delalie just before Maris (12) throws his at Mors. Which means I got the first kill. Yes! Sriani (7) just killed Talarie (9) with her dagger, and I see Terriana (1) taking care of Carmine (3). We're doing great so far!

Capitol- Anthony Abernethy[]

Destiny (C) and I run off to the forest area. Kila (2) killed Delalie, our other ally, but we'll manage. We sort through our stuff and I have some soup, a blanket, and water. Destiny has 3 throwing knives, a loaf of bread, and rope. We'll at least survive for now.

District 4- Fress Oceana[]

We're still hacking away at these tributes. I just decapitated Diego (7) with my mace, and none of us have died....yet.

District 13- Delilah Lexus[]

None of the Careers have died in the bloodbath. I would try to kill them, but there's no way I'm going back there. We lost Talarie in the bloodbath, so it's just me and Yuki (11). I have dried fruit and and a dagger, Yuki picked up some type of ointment and two throwing knives. Now all we need is some water.

Aftermath[]

District 8- Pinea Nummit[]

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Only 5 tributes? Dang. This will be a long Games. I'm with Brianna (10) and Tex (8) on the border of the forest and the lake. We're concealed pretty well. We're talking. I think Tex is into me. He's kinda cute...

District 3- Kronice Hayes[]

I'm sitting with Hadix (6) and Brick (9). We hear the anthem begin to play, and in the sky we see Carmine (3), Diego (7), Talarie (9), Delalie (12), and Mors (13). So all the Careers are still alive. Dang.

Day 2[]

District 4- Marine Waterlily[]

We wake up the next morning and I remember all of us are alive. This is good for us, at least. We're not really sure what we want to do. We're on the hill that the Cornucopia is on, so we can get an overview of all the tributes. But we can pretty much be seen from everywhere. Well, they already know we're here, so it doesn't really make a difference. BOOM! The cannon startles us. Who just died?

District 10- Brianna Abberdeen[]

Tex (8) and Pinea (8) just killed Sriani (7) as she came to our lake. We're lucky to have the only fresh water source in the entire arena. And it's all ours. We see Kronice (3) coming over and two of his allies are behind him. I throw one of my knives at him. BOOM! This is working beautifully. The other two run away.

District 1- Edric Almas[]

We're sitting around, not doing much until we hear the DING! Come on. A song? NOW? We hear the announcer's voice.

"Attention tributes! There will be a slight twist to this song. The twist is that all tributes in the Career pack do not have to sing the song. All other tributes do. The rules apply as normal, no killing during the song, and you will be killed if you do not sing. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor."

Pahaha! The other Careers and I are laughing. We can't kill any of them, but they'll be given away by singing. We can kill them after the song. We hear the music and stay quiet to listen for the voices of other tributes.

District 5- Rosie Amundsen[]

I didn't sing. I couldn't give my position away. And now, it's a choice I regret. The earth below me begins to shake, until it explodes. BOOM!

District 12- Maris Oceani[]

Someone didn't sing. We aren't sure who, but we just heard their cannon. Other than that, I think the tributes intentionally sang low so they couldn't give themselves away. Smart move. We couldn't really tell where any of it was coming from. Sigh.

Capitol- Destiny Fireway[]

Anthony (C) and I liked today's song. It was inspirational, and it motivated us to keep going forward. We settle down for the night in a tree-filled area that will conceal us well. The anthem begins to play and in the sky I see Kronice (3), Rosie (5), and Sriani (7). One of them didn't sing. It makes me glad I did. I'd rather the Careers know where I am than just die for not singing.

Day 3[]

District 6- Hadix Maven[]

We lost Kronice (3) yesterday, so it's just me and Brick (9) now. We decide we're just going to stay concealed for the day.

District 8- Tex Juana[]

Pinea (8) and Brianna (10) are still asleep. I drink some of the lake water. I see Fabian (10) and Jan (5) coming over. I throw my machete into Fabian's head. BOOM! The cannon wakes the girls as Jan runs away. I go retreive the machete. Some parachutes come down on our camp. Pinea gets some throwing knives and Brianna reads her mentor's note. Brianna is getting a wicked smile on her face and tells us to leave the lake.....Okay then?

District 2- Tomahawk Hawk[]

Bored. We are SO bored. Edric is training with his trident, while the rest of us are kind of sitting around doing nothing. DING! Oh joy. a song. We didn't have to sing yesterday, so there's no doubt in my mind that they'll make us today.

"Attention tributes! To make up for the.....unfairness, I should say, of yesterday, only the Career tributes need to sing this song. As usual, no killing, and if you're a Career and don't sing, you will be killed."

Great. We got to laugh at the other tributes yesterday, now they get to laugh at us. I'm going to sing though. I need to win, and if singing it what it takes to stay alive, bring it on. We hear the music and get ready to sing.

Well, it's our turn to laugh at the Careers. I didn't hear any cannons, so I guess they all sang. Of course they did, they're Careers. Even if they hate singing, they'll do it just to survive. Destiny (C) and I haven't really done anything. These Games have been uneventful, and I think the Gamemakers are only enjoying the songs. BOOM! Someone just died. Who? Where? HOW?

District 4- Fress Oceana[]

That idiot Fletch (11) tried to spy on our campsite. Edric (1) killed him with his trident. Finally. Something interesting happened. Heck, the girls are so bored they're having a fake fight with swords. Terriana (1) accidentally cuts Kila's (2) forehead. Kila drinks some instant relief and the cut clears up. "Maybe this isn't the smartest idea. If we're going to train our weapons, let's not practice on each other." Kila says. The other two girls nod. Something exciting needs to happen, or else the Gamemakers will create something nasty for us.

District 5- Jan Nogros[]

I lost my only ally today, and unless I can find someone else, I'm on my own. The anthem begins to play and Iook into the sky and see Fabian (10), followed by Fletch (11). These Games have been really boring. I'm starting to worry that the Gamemakers will create something to spark up excitement. This is scaring me.

Day 4[]

District 11- Yuki Hickey[]

Delilah (13) and I are woken up by screaming. We look up and see this gigantic mutt that looks like a cross between a dog, a dragon, a lion, a wasp, and a bunch of other things. Destiny (C) and Anthony (C) run past us, screaming, not even stopping to try and kill us. We aimlessly run right behind them, screaming too.

District 2- Kila Marinlie[]

The other Careers and I wake up to screaming. Lots of screaming. We see this giant mutt roaming the forest. What it is, I can't even begin to describe. Destiny (C), Anthony (C), Yuki (11), and Delilah (13) are running to our Cornucopia field. I don't understand what they're doing until they hide on the other side of the hill. The mutt's lost them, but he sees us. We're screwed.

Capitol- Destiny Fireway[]

The giant mutt thing is going after the Careers. There you go, Gamemakers, you got your excitement. Yuki (11) and Delilah (13) congratulate Anthony (C) on his plan to attract the mutt to the Cornucopia and hopefully kill some Careers. I hear their screaming, and the four of us burst out laughing. Yuki and Delilah seem pretty cool. They're trustworthy, too. I'm about to ask, but before I can, Anthony asks exactly what I was about to ask. "Hey, do you two wanna join our alliance?" They accept our offer. I hear a BOOM! BOOM! and look up to the Cornucopia field. I see Tomahawk's (2) and Marine's (4) bodies dead on the ground. We hear some trumpets and the announcer's voice.

"Attention tributes! Normally this is the time of day where you'd sing a song. Today, that is not the case. We will be adding another twist. We are splitting the remaining tributes up into two teams, red and blue. Once the teams are announced, the arena will split into the red side and the blue side. You are to IMMEDIATELY report to your team's side.

Now here's the catch: If a tribute is on the their team's side, they cannot be killed by another tribute on their team, but they CAN be killed by a tribute on the other team. If a tribute is on the other team's side, they can be killed by a tribute on their team or the other team.

The last two tributes from each team will be crowned victors. And now, here are the teams.

The Red Team will consist of Alina Concord, Anthony Abernethy, Brick Hein, Delilah Lexus, Destiny Fireway, Fress Oceana, Pinea Nummit, and Terriana Transylvestia.

The Blue Team will consist of Brianna Abberdeen, Edric Almas, Hadix Maven, Jan Nogros, Kila Marinlie, Maris Oceani, Tex Juana, and Yuki Hickey.

Wow. Anthony, Delilah and I are on the same team, but Yuki is on the other team. She cries and hugs Delilah. The side of the arena we're sitting on turns red, from the trees, to the ground, to even the sky. The other side turns blue, and Yuki waves goodbye as she heads to the blue side.

District 1- Terriana Transylvestia- Red Team[]

Fress (4) and I are the only Careers that are on the Red Team. We head to the red side of the arena as the remaining Careers head to the blue side. A hovercraft comes down and gives each of us a red bracelet, so others will know what team we're on. I assume the blue team got blue bracelets. Every other tribute that's on the red team is on the slope of the hill. Each one is wearing a red bracelet, just like Fress and me.

District 8- Tex Juana- Blue Team[]

I'm upset that Pinea (8) is on the other team, but at least Brianna (10) is on the same team as me. Some lady from a hovercraft just gave us blue bracelets, and we're supposed to report to the slope of the hill that the Cornucopia is on top of. We go there and see that the arena is split perfectly in half between red and blue. Everyone else on our team is there. We at least have the majority of the Careers on our team. We have three and the Red Team has two. I do a quick headcount. The Red Team has 5 girls and 3 boys, and the Blue Team has 5 boys and 3 girls. Pretty evenly split. I look at Pinea over on the red side. She's staring at me, but they're allowing two victors from each team. I know we can make it home together.

District 6- Alina Concord- Red Team[]

Terriana (1) and Fress (4) immediately start taking charge. I'm just going to go along with them. Thank God there wasn't a song today, but now there's no one on my back. We hear the anthem, and see Tomahawk (2), followed by Marine (4). Terriana and Fress are trying to work this out, and the rest of us fall asleep.

Day 5[]

District 12- Maris Oceani- Blue Team[]

We wake up in the morning and Kila (2) and Edric (1) have taken charge of our team. A parachute comes down for Yuki (11), and she has soup and a spear. Kila tells us about her mentor's plan, and begins to assign everyone to certain places.

"All right, Maris, Edric, and I will head through the forest until we reach the red forest. We'll camp there for the night and kill their tributes. Brianna, Tex, and Yuki, guard the border. Brianna and Tex, guard right below the hill. Yuki, guard on top of the hill. Jan and Hadix, guard our part of the forest. The lake is on our side, so one of you might wanna guard that. Make sure nobody kills you two! Now head out!"

Wow. Kila's mentor pretty much laid all this out for us. I heard Kila was bullied back in District 2 because her parents couldn't afford to have her go to Career Academy. Everyone told her she'd never make it as a Career, but she knows what she's doing, and I admire it. Kila, Edric, and I head into the woods. The woods begin turning red, and I know we're on their side.

District 4- Fress Oceana- Red Team[]

Terriana (1) and I are in charge of the Red Team. We're going to go to the Blue Team's side. Alina (6), Brick (9), and Anthony (C) are guarding the forest, while Delilah (13), Destiny (C), and Pinea (8) guard the border. Terriana (1) and I go over to the woods. We walk through and see the lake on the blue side, with Jan (5) guarding it. Terriana (1) takes an arrow and shoots him in the heart. BOOM! Suddently the colors begin to shift, and the lake turns half blue and half red. The arena isn't perfectly in half anymore. They've distorted it. We look on top of the Cornucopia field and see that the arena is now split into four quarters, two of them blue, two of them red.

District 10- Brianna Abberdeen- Blue Team[]

I'm standing here guarding the border for my team with Destiny guarding it for her team. Technically, I COULD kill her right now, but part of me doesn't want to just yet. We hear trumpets and the announcer's voice.

"Attention tributes! We have gotten somewhat.....BORED of the song twist, so there will not be another song until the feast. We are sticking with the team twist for now. May the odds be ever in your favor!"

Thank God. No more songs until the feast.

District 13- Delilah Lexus- Red Team[]

I requested to guard on top of the hill, next to the Cornucopia, as soon as I saw that that was where Yuki (11) was assigned to guard.

"Delilah, I really want us both to make it home. And Destiny or Anthony too" Yuki says to me.

"So do I. Destiny and Anthony are pretty distraught only three out of us four can make it home." I reply.

"At least the two of us still can." Yuki says with a smile.

Yes, at least the two of us still can. Destiny and Anthony are great, but if I win, I want Yuki to win with me.

District 1- Edric Almas- Blue Team[]

Kila is up in a tree in red territory while Maris (12) and I are concealed in bushes. Brick (9) walks by. I hear a BOOM! as three tridents hit Brick simultaneously. Kila, Maris and I must have all thrown our tridents at the same time. We laugh as we go to retrieve them. Fress (4) comes out of nowhere and beheads Maris with his mace. BOOM! I throw my trident at him in revenge. BOOM! Four cannons today.

District 1- Terriana Transylvestia- Red Team[]

My team meets back at the slope of the hill. I see only five other people. "Okay." I say. "So obviously we had two deaths on our team, and the other team had two as well." The anthem begins to play and I see Fress (4), Jan (5), Brick (9), and Maris (12). Wow. "Okay then." I say. "We lost Fress and Brick, they lost Jan and Maris, that makes it 6 versus 6. Tomorrow, we'll come up with a new plan for defense."

Day 6[]

District 8- Pinea Nummit- Red Team[]

My mentor just sent me an amazing plan. I wake the rest of my team and let them read it. They like it, and Destiny (C) gives me her rope. Terriana (1) camped out on the blue side last night, so I'll have to warn her about the plan. We can't risk losing another member of our team. I split the rope into a few pieces, and Alina (6), Destiny, and Anthony (C) begin setting up snares in the nearby trees. I go to Delilah (13) and have her dig up the mines around the starting plates. She reactivates them and places them in a clever order. Once Alina, Destiny, and Anthony return, I tell them to hide. I sneak over to the blue side to look for Terriana (1), and I bump into her quickly. She was just on her way back. I give her my mentor's plan and tell her that we just finished setting it up. BOOM! It must have worked. We look to the Cornucopia field and see the dead, exploded body of someone. I think it's Hadix (6), but I'm not totally sure. Ah, we'll find out tonight.

District 2- Kila Marinlie- Blue Team[]

Someone just died. Edric (1) and I are still on the red side. We haven't been found yet. We see Pinea (8) walking through the forest, and I throw my trident at her. BOOM! I don't want to risk getting out of the tree yet, in case there were any other tributes with her. Once I know the coast is clear, I quietly get down from the tree and steal Pinea's red bracelet. Then maybe they'll think I'm on the Red Team. I climb back up, and spy closer to the Red camp. They've mined the Cornucopia. There are snares everywhere. I report my findings back to Edric. We need to do something.

District 8- Tex Juana- Blue Team[]

We saw an explosion here today. The arena colors shift again, this time back to the perfect half red, half blue that it originally was. Which means the lake's back on our side. Brianna doesn't know about the mines, and when she goes back to guard her spot at the Cornucopia, I'm too late to warn her. BOOM!

District 6- Alina Concord- Red Team[]

Brianna (10) just walked into the mine too. We laugh and celebrate. A trident hits Destiny (C) in the skull and Anthony (C) screams. BOOM! We see Edric (1) running away and Kila (2) comes over wearing a red bracelet. I don't remember her being on our team before, but I wasn't really paying attention. "Hey guys." she says. "I need to talk to Anthony for a moment." She pulls him away as he cries over Destiny. She stabs her trident through his skull and runs away. BOOM! So she WASN'T on our team! She was working undercover for the Blue Team! Ugh, I hate her.

District 1- Terriana Transylvestia- Red Team[]

There aren't many tributes left at this point. I go back to the blue side to go tribute hunting. I see Yuki (11) and hit her in the skull with an arrow. BOOM! Edric (1) and Kila (2) walk over, and I shoot another arrow, hitting Edric in the heart. BOOM! I feel something sharp enter my back, and I know it's probably Kila (2), avenging Edric. BOOM!

District 13- Delilah Lexus- Red Team[]

They're giving the the death toll early tonight. I don't understand why. I see Edric (1), Terriana (1), Hadix (6), Pinea (8), Brianna (10), and Yuki (11). Only me and Alina are left from our team, and Kila and Tex from the Blue Team. Wait. Two left from each team. Alina realizes this just as I do. We won! The trumpets begin to play.

"Congratulations to Kila Marinlie of District 2, Alina Concord of District 6, Tex Juana of District 8, and Delilah Lexus of District 13! Please board the hovercraft that will escort you back to the Capitol."

Alina and I begin to cheer. We get on the hovercraft and get ready for the interviews.

Post-Games Interview[]

Cameron Flickerman: Please welcome your victors, Kila Marinlie of District 2, Alina Concord of District 6, Tex Juana of District 8, and Delilah Lexus of District 13!

Cameron: The first question is for Kila. How does it feel now that you finally proved all those bullies wrong?

Kila: It feels amazing. They'll think twice before messing with me now. My entire life, I was told "You could never do it." And guess what? I did it.

Cameron: That sounds pretty amazing. Alina, do you feel you've learned anything from this experience?

Alina: Well, when the team split was made, I learned to trust others a little more. Not everyone's out to get me. I realize that now.

Cameron: I'm glad you do. Tex, are you upset about having lost Pinea and Brianna?

Tex: Brianna died because of me. I should have warned her earlier. I'm happy to have won, but Pinea and I could have had an amazing life back home.

Cameron: At least you won, right?

Tex: Right.

Cameron: And finally, Delilah. I heard you really wanted to win with Yuki, Anthony, and Destiny.

Delilah: I did. I knew Yuki and I could win together, but I couldn't win with all three of them. But like Tex, I'm still happy to have won.

Cameron: Well, that's all the time we have for today. Enjoy your life in the Victor's Village!

Epilogue[]

Kila stopped getting bullied when she returned home. The girls who bullied her began to apologize, but Kila didn't let them off so easily. She made them her servants as she got older, and made their lives miserable. Eventually, she stopped making them work for her, and started a campaign to stop bullying. She married a District 2 victor, and they had kids.

Alina eventually married a District 6 victor. They had children, and she joined Kila's stop bullying campaign. She became less of a loner, learning to trust others more. She had kids, but never wanted them to be reaped. And they never were.

Tex originally didn't want to marry when he got back to District 8, but eventually did. He married a girl he had a crush on before meeting Pinea. They had a daughter, and named her Pinea.

Delilah returned to District 13 and made a living being a stand-up comedian. She enjoyed making others laugh and was better rested than ever. She married a guy in District 13, and they had a daughter, naming her Yuki.
