Hi everyone! I got this great idea for a new type of Hunger Games: A GAME OF SMARTS! Instead of a fighting games, it's a competition to see who the smartest tribute is! I will be using the most common and well known tributes from the 74th and 75th Hunger Games. It's basically planned like the Hunger Games, but...
- There's no tribute reaping
- No chariot rides
- The training center is a Learner Building. The LB has a floor for each district, like the building in the 74th HG. During the training center days (one week), tributes will have time to learn things, kind of like how we prepare for a super hard Quiz Bowl, or really big school exams. Except this kind of learning is much more intense. Each day, tributes will have a minumum of 7 hours to study, maximum 12 hours(tributes need rest).
- The Games take place in an arena as well. This arena is extremely big, and is home to 12 extremely similar areas, for each district. In each area are a line of obstacles which the tributes must cross at the beginning to be able to reach their specific place of where they will be tested(place will be on the opposite side of where the tributes start. (The obstacles are kind of like a cruel and hasty chariot ride. Not really, but sort of.)
- Tributes depend on sponsors (meaning you) to hire Learning Helpers, more complex Helpers, and costly hints while they are in the arena. ]
HOW IT WORKS[]
Tributes enter the arena, cross the obstacles, and arrive at the Arena Testing House. The faster they arrive there, the faster they can get started on their testing. In the ATH there will be Capitol Education members ready to test you. Any sign of tackling or hurting a CE member will result in a full day out in the forest with no food and water(this is the part where it is like the hunger games) which leaves your other district members to make up for your loss by answering all your questions. Tributes spend 3 days in the arena. In the night, they go out of the Arena Testing House and into the forest. There they make shelter and find food. In the day, they get fed and chairs, couches, tables, food, water, and stationary will be supplied.
HOW TO SPONSOR A TRIBUTE[]
Each person is allowed to sponsor 1-3 tributes. If a tribute still has no sponsors when the Learner Building process starts, they will be cancelled out of the 1st Official Game of Smarts. If you'd like to sponsor a tribute, you can enter them in the comment section. Each person gets $2000 per tribute. No transferring money from one tribute to another tribute. Before the LB process starts, if you are sponsoring a tribute, you will be notified.
PRICES OF SPONSOR GIFTS[]
LEARNER BUILDING GIFTS(helpers are categorized in different levels. The higher the level, the better helper they are.)
- Level 1 Learning Helper- $100
- Level 2 LH- $200
- Level 3 LH- $300
- Certified Professional LH- $500
- Extra hour of learning/studying- $50 per hour, given to your tribute's LH
- Extra food and water- free upon request

- Free ride across 50m of obstacles- $200
- Math, Science, Literature hint- $100
- Social Studies, Geography hint-$150
- History of Panem hints- $200

ANSWERING QUESTIONS[]
If a tribute gets...
- 5 answers right(whether in a row or not)- $5 to their sponsor
- 10 answers right IN A ROW-$20
- 20 answers right IN A ROW-$50
- 30 in a row(happened only once)- $75
- 50 in a row(has never happened before)- $200
WINNERS []
Every day each tribute is required to answer at least 500 questions, and at least 480 of those questions must be correct. The tribute that answers the most correctly at the end of the 3 days wins the crown of the 1st Official Game of Smarts.
AVAILABLE TRIBUTES TO ENTER THE 1ST GAME OF SMARTS[]
